DID 💐YOU 💐KNOW

Wedding florals go through trends just like fashion does??
It's great to see the ever evolving shapes, styles and colour combinations every year.

I've been a florist from the day I left school at 16 and an excellent bucket washing Saturday girl before that and the very proud owner of BFD for over 15 years.
I've seen my fair few trends come and go ... Things like balls of roses, tightly wrapped ribbon stems and it pains me to say diamond pins stuck in the center of beautiful flowers 🙈🙈🙈.
Thankfully we are in the era of free flowing florals full of movement and textures and I'm loving it.

The one thing though that will never go out of fashion is LOVE 🩷🩷🩷

When I get to be such a beautiful part of a couple's special day it reminds me every time that I have the best job in the world and the perfect job for me. ######x

JUST WHAT I NEEDED 🩷😁🩷

Living in this perpetual January is draining my mojo.
I'm craving all the good things spring will have to offer!! Starting my awesome 2025 weddings and of course my rockin flower school again.

But thankfully I received this beautiful review a few days ago from one of my hen parties and it's given me back the spring in my step. Knowing people love what you do and who you are really helps ❤️❤️❤️.

Being your own boss is sometimes a lonely overwhelming place which can fill you with a little self doubt especially with things like social media. I tell myself just post all the fabulous things you've done but it feels like a block from time to time and I think no one wants to see it. Hopefully I can leave that negative mindset in January and bother you all endlessly with more BFD flowery things moving forward 😁😁😁.

I was obsessed with her dress from the start. I'm a massive balloon sleeves fan at the best of times and when she messaged to say she'd decided on it I think I squealed 🤣🤣🤣.

Kate and Richard's wedding flowers back in October were made using all beautiful dried flowers which matched the season perfectly. It was a stunning wedding for an amazing couple 🧡🧡🧡🧡

WE'RE BACK!!!!
And with a bang 😍. I have an awesome feeling this year will be like no other. A total flex and a riot of even more flowery amazingness.

I am buzzing for this year's weddings and to get started on more planning with my beautiful brides and grooms to be.

WREATH QUEEN!!
A few lovely people have used this term and I'm owning it 🤣.
This year has been a record I have had the massive pleasure of teaching 411 people to make the most awesome wreaths!!!! It's been a blast and I'm beyond grateful for all the familiar faces returning each year and all the new ones too. I've been to some amazing schools, restaurants and clubs and met the most wonderful people all in the quest to make every front door beautiful this Christmas.

To everyone who came THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You are supporting my dream 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄.

IT'S OUR 15TH BIRTHDAY 🎂🎂🎂
This week marks a very special celebration at Bohemia Floral Design, we have been in business for 15 fabulous years!!!
I'm not sure where the years have gone but it has been a total joy to have made so many wonderful friends from customers, students and brides. I feel very lucky to have been involved in so many magical weddings and teaching people the happiness flower arranging can bring.
You've all been with me on my journey and I'm forever grateful for you for keeping my dream alive.
Being a florist is the only job I've ever known, starting out as an enthusiastic 15 year old Saturday girl to become the owner of my dream business.
None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my wonderful husband, family, friends, and all my amazing bohemians.

Here's to the next 15, love you always Abi ######x

This afternoon was a total joy. Children are the most amazing excited little wonders. All budding florists and fabulously spooktacular.

LITTLE BOO AND YOU 🎃🎃🎃

Bohemia Flower School are bringing you a super cute child's flower arranging class this half term just like our famous "Mummy & Me". This spooktacular Halloween themed class is on Monday 28th of October 2pm. Places are £25 for one adult and one child making one arrangement together. Everything is included and refreshments with Halloween themed cupcakes. To book your place just get in touch. Fancy dress for the children is encouraged but not essential. Suitable for 3's and up 👻🎃👻🎃 ######

AUTUMN, I LOVE YA 🍂🎃🍂🎃

I only just realised I'd not shared some of the pics from our 4 autumn wreath classes. They were amazing, and I loved making these beauts together.

I've got info dropping soon for some Halloween themed classes and a very exciting junior BFS in half-term, so keep your eyes peeled
