I’m a realist, when guests leave your wedding their memories will mainly centre around the atmosphere, food, music and people and rightly so.

If you ask a guest to recount your placesettings, they most likely won’t be able to, at least not to the level of detail you’d like.

BUT does that mean we should neglect them?

Absolutely not! The table design DOES creates impact on the day. Considered, thought through details that showcase your style, and anything that does that on your wedding day is a win in my book.

Thank you so much to everyone who has enquired recently ✨

Since returning from the Christmas break I have been totally overwhelmed (in the best way) with the number of requests coming in…it is most definitely enquiry season!

There is so much in motion at the moment, so much planning going on (who’d have thought it for a wedding planner eh?!) what with weddings and projects I have in the pipeline. I have had this week, and am continuing to have new client discovery calls and I am loving hearing all about your plans!

I’m chasing my tail at the moment, clearing one email to have another instantly pop in but I love things being busy, busy, busy like this, so thank you all for your interest and trust ❤️✨

// VENUE SEARCH //

The venue search is a process. Some couples have very clear ideas from the beginning, others are very open but the majority fall somewhere in the middle, with a rough idea of what they like but not even sure if the venue that have in mind exists or how to go about finding it.

As your wedding planner I will listen to your initial preferences and importantly, will take consideration of your top priorities and non-negotiables. I’ll suggest venues to you that aim to tick all of your boxes, will highlight any compromises (as let’s be real, in most cases an element of compromise is required) and I’ll adapt as your vision develops. Sometimes it’s only through seeing what you don’t want, that you learn what you do and what’s important to you as a couple, so if we need to go back to the drawing board, that’s what will do.

We are dancing and twirling our way into 2025 (at least metaphorically!) as I’m so excited for all things WBEC this year!

What a day it has been, I have not stopped responding to enquiries received over the Christmas break (thank you to you all! ❤️), following up venue bookings, obtaining and sending out quotes, scheduling appointments and generally progressing plans. The list quite literally goes on, as I haven’t completed my to-do list today, but I’ve made a good old dent and have had a productive start to the year so I can’t complain!

// GET THE COCKTAILS READY //

I am now out of office for the festive break!

I’m wrapping up 2025 on a high, this week I’ve secured two beautiful venues for 2026 weddings and onboarded a new 2026 client ✨

This year has been a big one for me, returning from maternity leave and building the business back up again after the break. Thank you so much to all my couples for your support, both existing and new, and to my industry colleagues who have given me advice on juggling the mum/self-employed life. It all means a lot ✨

Now it’s time for a brief period of chill before we’re straight back into it. I’ll be back on site visits on 3rd and officially in in the office again on 6th January, until then, have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄🍾✨

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love a sweetheart table.

Your wedding day is a whirlwind in the best way possible, but with large guest numbers especially you can find the day flashes by and ironically you’ve hardly spend any time with your new bride or groom.

Sweetheart tables give you that opportunity to have a little moment together. Mingle with your guests between courses, but take those little moments when it’s just the two of you on your wedding day ❤️

When your day comes around I want you to look and most importantly feel your best. You deserve a morning getting ready that is as calm as possible, relaxing where it can be (being the bride is a lot) and generally just a special, memorable time with your chosen friends ✨

You should be in the hands of reassuring, calming professionals who will help support you in your final steps towards the aisle ✨

And of course you need a fab photographer by your side to capture your bridal beauty in all its glory! ✨

My goodness what a whirlwind week or so it’s been at WBEC! 💫

I have onboarded not one but two new full planning clients for UK weddings, one in 2025 and one in 2026 so it’s been all systems go on the venue searches - so very exciting!

As well as that, I have shoot planning in motion for early next year and an exciting project in the pipeline for March (more on that soon) as well as the ongoing planning for my lovely existing couples. In between I’ve had a second discovery call with a couple about a potential 2025 Italian wedding and have of course been managing all the usual admin such as email enquiries, accounting and social media…granted I may have dropped the ball on that last one 🙃

It’s been busy, busy, busy but I’m feeling super happy and like the spring is back in my business step so thank you to all my amazing couples, new and existing ❤️
