It's been a little while since our last post - so much has been going on behind the scenes, in particular a change in our lifestyle with the arrival of Baby Thomas! Now 1, he has absolutely melted our hearts 💙
We've had such an amazing time running Alimento, we started on this day back in 2013 and what an emotional, rewarding and exciting 11 years it has been. Every event unique, every day a new challenge, the people we have met, the suppliers we've worked with and our immensely talented team that aren't just fantastic they're family! 😍
Certainly it has been the proudest moment of my career and never thought we'd move on from such an awesome opportunity, but so much has changed in the last 10 years, certainly the industry isn't what it was, covid had quite the impact! By the same token customer habits have changed which has moved us away from what we do best, whilst we have embraced every wedding, birthday, celebration and party with the passion and excitement that it demands, it is time for a change🍴
Sometimes in order to move forward we need to slow down, which is exactly what we've decided to do, we're sad to say goodbye to Alimento Event Catering, but what a wonderful time we've had! We are so proud of everything that we achieved, the good, the bad, the learning curves, late nights and early starts, or no sleep at all between jobs and of course the complete and utterly bonkers times that are the best fun!
From everyone, we'd like to say THANK YOU so much for all the support and business during the last decade, we're on to the next chapter, but we'd love to know what you've enjoyed over the years with comments and pictures 📸
On a personal note, I would like to thank my wife, family and friends for all of their support and relentless hard work to realise such potential in creating the best the business could be ❤️.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🙏
