“Jane, Sylvi and I would like to thank you for creating the perfect day, to celebrate our dear mum. The barn was beautifully decorated, the flowers, just what we wanted. The outdoor space is glorious, so we were able to spend the day in the sunshine, celebrating Mum with our family and friends, it was such a wonderful way to share all our memories. We are not sure how you managed to provide the perfect weather, but that made it extra special. Many thanks to Kate, Richard, and Lauren who thought of everything to the last detail. The chef and all the staff for looking after us so well. The buffet was delightful and beautifully displayed, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Ann.”

We’re very excited for you to meet Brian, our Head Chef.

Brian joined the team at Random Hall in February of this year, with a wealth of experience.

For many years, Brian & his wife owned a pub in Cornwall which won a number of awards. They then moved to Sussex where Brian became head chef of a very busy pub serving hundreds of meals daily.

Brian decided this year he wanted a slower pace of life and a position where he could really put his own stamp on the menu & bring his ideas to life. So luckily he found our venue & joined us!

Since joining the team he has changed the evening menu and the wedding breakfast offering and ensured allergens are easily visible on every menu. We’re currently in discussions about some other exciting changes too which we’ll keep you posted about!

Where are we located?

Random Hall is located in the beautiful village of Slinfold, just a 10 minute drive from Horsham town and train station. We have ample parking if you’re driving and the bus from both Guildford and Horsham stop near by!

We don’t just cater for weddings here at Random Hall, we can host birthdays, retreats, anniversaries, baby showers, meeting spaces and more!

We’re lucky to have a few different areas in the hotel, so whether you need a bigger space or are looking for something more intimate we can accommodate that also! 💙

A new lease of life for Random Hall

Random Hall has recently changed ownership and management. If your a repeat customer to Random Hall, or if you haven’t had the pleasure of stepping foot into the Historic Building. Please pop in and allow us to introduce ourselves.

Random Hall is a 16th Century Farmhouse retreat in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

We have a range of facilities including our Oak Suite which is perfect for private functions and we offer exclusive use of the hotel and bedrooms for weddings and larger functions.

Our Flagstone Restaurant is available to non residents for breakfast and dinner. We always recommend you book in advance.
