Fight Night Durham was established by Wilder Events in 2021, developed from the ground up by our student senior management team. It’s run for students, by students, with our fighters and audience in mind every step of the way. Our aim was to create an incredible event, without cutting any corners. Fight Night Durham is a huge calendar date, our resounding, sell-out success in November proving this

beyond doubt. We deliver premier training to our fighters, for no cost to them we provide 6 weeks of intensive training and nutritional advice, equipment and kit. They get to have the experience of their lives, pushing themselves beyond anything they could have imagined, and our guests get to watch their friends battle it out in black-tie style. Amidst making all this happen, our senior management team works with sponsors to ensure our charity fundraising targets are met also. You’ll be quite aware by now that we don’t do things by halves at Wilder, so we’re throwing some very serious investment at this. We are absolutely delighted to announce that our ROUND 9 event raised a RECORD BREAKING total of £27,753.98 for the 🙌🏼

Our amazing fighters and student Exec have worked relentlessly over the past few months resulting in our Round 9 event smashing all previous Durham Fight Night and UK records, with R9 incredibly now also sitting in second place in our all-time individual fundraiser standings in Wilder Fight Night History! 🏆🤩

We are also incredibly proud to announce that we have a new individual fundraising record with raising an astonishing £5,260! 🥳 This overtakes the previous UK-Wide individual fighter record holder , who raised a brilliant £3,403 in our Durham Round 7 event last March. There must be something in the water in Durham.. 😳

An HUGE thank you and well done to all the incredible fighters, coaches ( ), sponsors and Exec for making Round 9 the best one yet - and to & for supporting us for our Meet The Fighters & Round 9 After Party Events. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved in our electric black tie events! 🥹
