Company description

We are an established tipi company based near Cowfold, West Sussex. We provide Giant Hat Tipis for weddings, parties and events throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.

Job description

This is an unusual and physically demanding job - setting up and dismantling our tipis for weddings and private parties. Our warehouse is near Cowfold, West Sussex and we cover areas within Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.

We’re looking for crew to start at the beginning of June through to end of October. Will consider uni students too, we can be flexible on end date.

Days of work are: Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays but may vary as required by the business. Days off will be Tuesdays and Saturdays. Hours of work will vary depending on size and location of our events, but the days can be long and we usually start between 5.30 – 6.45 at our warehouse. Anyone looking for a normal or 9-5 job should not apply.

Essential

– Enthusiastic, motivated and hard working

– Full Driving License for over 2 years with own transport

– Live within 30mins drive of Cowfold, West Sussex

– Physically fit and strong

– Good Communication Skills

– Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

– Eligible to work in the UK

– Well presented

– Able to undertake specific tasks as directed and to be able to follow set procedures

Desirable

– Previous experience within a similar tipi or marquee role

– Experience of driving vans

– Experience of working outdoors (or an interest to work outside) whatever the weather

June - October

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
