Well, I was apprehensive as to what the first meeting of SHEPLEY FOLK CLUB would be like - I need not have bothered, it was an absolutely fantastic afternoon, and everyone had a thoroughly wonderful time.

We had group singing and individual singing (I managed to escape that, because I have a voice that would clear the room in 5 seconds flat). We had 25 people attend this first meeting - from Sheffield and beyond, and from what was said, I think that we can safely say the SHEPLEY FOLK CLUB has laid its foundations and is now ready to grow.

I couldn't Post this without giving a very special "Thank You" to Pip Noble, who has helped and advised me so much from my first idea of starting a Folk Club to its very first meeting this afternoon - "Thank you, Pip, you're a star".

So, building on this afternoon's success, our next meeting is on :-

SUNDAY 19th JANUARY 2025 - Commencing 1.30pm until 4.30pm.

More details later, but put it in your diaries and make a point of coming along to join us, you won't regret it 😀
