After almost nine years of hiring halls and weekend venues for our Shamanic Teaching we are feeling such gratitude for the opportunity to create our very own sacred space in the heart of Denby Dale, a delightful village, set on the banks of the River Dearne.
We are incredibly excited about the opportunities that this opens up for us and for our Shamanic Tribe. We are eager to begin transforming the space in September when we receive the keys. We look forward to welcoming like Hearted people to share this space with us.
We are naming this sacred space ‘The Labyrinth’ for this is the Gateway to the Infinite Self and is symbolic of all spiritual work. We are all on the path... exactly where we need to be. The labyrinth is a model of that path.
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools.
A labyrinth is an archetype with which we can have a direct experience. We can walk it. It is a metaphor for life's journey. It is a symbol that creates a sacred space and place and takes us out of our ego to "That Which Is Within."
The Labyrinth will be a center for Contemporary Shamanism, Holistic Training, Alternative Healings, Personal Growth and Transformation.
Created by Spirit of the Sacred Drum, The Labyrinth will offer loving, shamanic-inspired space where you can receive natural alternative healing therapies in beautiful surroundings from experienced professional practitioners and therapists. You will find a variety of courses and workshops to suit those simply questing for an opportunity to release their creativity and also for those wishing to delve deeper into their hearts, these will include :- Shamanic Practitioner Training, Medicine Wheel, Goddess Courses, Reiki Training, Sound Therapy, Past Life Healing, Nature Therapy, Poetry Circle and Labyrinth walks to name a few.
The courses will range from weekly/monthly/ evening/ weekend circles to one or two year training courses.
