In 2025, there’s three live music gigs still booked at St. Paul’s Hall, Marsh Lane, Shepley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD8 8AE.

The gigs in November and December are being arranged by SHEPLEY FOLK CLUB, and details will be posted very soon.

However, “Live at St. Paul’s Hall” has got ‘Rhythm and Blues at its very BEST’ for you on Saturday 18th October, at 7.30pm, when we have the fabulous ‘TIGERMEN’ playing for us.

It’s going to be a night to remember for all of us R&B fans, so don’t delay getting your tickets for this one – they’re £12 each, and are available from Ticket Tailor via the QR-Code or Link Address that appears on the Post video (there’s NO Booking Fee or Transaction Fee – you only pay for the ticket).

BUT, and it’s a B…………I…………G…………‘BUT’ – we have a Limited Number of ‘Early Bird Tickets’ available at only £10 (via Ticket Tailor) – so when we’ve sold the allocated number of these Early Bird Tickets, or we reach the ‘cut-off date (whichever comes sooner), then tickets will only be available at the full price of £12.

Don't forget that there's TWO Ceilidh Dances on at St. Paul's Hall, Marsh Lane, Shepley, Huddersfield HD8 8AE this weekend - one on Saturday 24th and one on Sunday 25th May - both start at 7.30pm and end at 10.30pm.

These Ceilidhs are arranged by The Ridings Folk Dance and Song Group, it's 'Pay On The Door' and the cost is only £4 (cash only). Children are FREE.

Come on down and join the fun and banter - bring the family and kids for a great evening (beats watching all those repeats on TV).

It's a BYOB event (Bring Your Own Booze for the uninitiated), and bring a cup/mug because there's tea and coffee provided at 'half-time'.

Regrettably, we are again faced with the situation of having to cancel a gig, due to insufficient ticket sales.
We have been in close liaison with the performers, but it was decided that the event should be cancelled and not go ahead.

We would like to welcome THE RIDINGS FOLK DANCE AND SONG GROUP back to St. Paul's Hall, Marsh Lane, Shepley, Huddersfield HD8 8AE for their annual forage into the wild wonders of Shepley village.

They arrange their own Ceilidh Dances .......................... yes, DANCES!

They hold a dance on Saturday 24th May and Sunday 25th May, and both start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.

They are BYOB events - that's "Bring Your Own Booze" to the uninitiated, and/or bring your own cup/mug and enjoy the tea and coffee that's provided during the interval.

COST: Adult entry is only £4 each (that's £4 per adult, per evening - not £4 for both evenings), and it's 'pay on the door'. Children are free (that means that they get into the dances free, not that children are being given away free) 😂😂😂

So, come along and join in the fun and banter - it's cheaper than stopping in and watching more repeats on the telly 😉

Well, Paul Smith and myself managed to find a suitable time slot today for us to paint the new stage front at St. Paul's Hall.

Now that it's been altered to make it a square frontage it gives us the opportunity to use our portable stage sections to add an extension so that we can now accommodate a Fashion Show or similar.

Anybody interested in arranging something along those lines, please get in touch.
