There's definitely an autumnal feel in the air this week. Who's looking forward to creating a gorgeous autumn wreath for their door? Filled with the colours and textures of the end of summer and the start of harvest time. Browns and golds, reds and oranges, deep greens and touches of smooth textures from berries or russet apples, dried seed heads and grasses for wispy, floaty contrast, and luxury ribbons that catch in the breeze.
I love my autumn wreaths - I tend to keep them displayed right up to my Christmas ones and then I even put them back up after my festive ones are taken down. The textures and colours develop beautifully as the wreaths dry out and they're too lovely to throw away. I still have last year's autumn wreath on my workshop door now and it's a tapestry of brown and gold.
