JOB DESCRIPTION
As the successful Administration Assistant, you’ll assist in managing the documentation of goods inbound & outbound. You’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, raising relevant documentation and quotations within Xero
You will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative.
The successful candidate will ideally have had previous experience working as an administrator in a demanding logistics environment, however, full training will be given.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of administration within an office environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful working relationships and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
Exceptional prioritisation and organisation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Confident use of Microsoft office packages.
Main roles and responsibilities
Dealing with all customer enquiries
Processing incoming hire requests
Liaising with clients regarding any changes or delays to their requests
Issuing hire enquiry documents
Be an important part of an office environment where you will have dealings with customs clearance and touch on different export and shipping documentation
Use your customer service skills to full advantage when updating clients on delivery times and the status of shipments
Liaise regularly with third parties, suppliers and hauliers
Keeping documentation up to date
General Administration
Booking collections/deliveries in line with our customer requirements
Ensure the company warehouse management system is up to date (training provided)
Raise quotations and input into Xero (training provided)
Following up with clients on their quotations
37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday

Salary: £20,000 per annum
