A great day out with the children, mums and dads, and staff, reading books and singing songs at Elgin Library.
Just back from our spring break! #positive
Sending best wishes to all our couples, families and friends for a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year! From Team Ceremonies.Scot
Teamwork makes the Dreamwork, as they say, and this past week was the busiest yet for Team Ceremonies.Scot with nine fantastic wedding ceremonies to celebrate!
Some were postponed (more than once!) however all our happy couples saw their ceremonies and days unfold just as they wished for – all different, all lovely, with lots of fun, laughter and happy tears!
We are so lucky to have such a strong team – when you reserve your date with us; you have our whole team behind you and it is by working together we have been able to accommodate all that Covid can throw at us, and you!
Huge congratulations to all our lovely newlyweds – happy honeymooning, everyone.
Mr and Mrs Smith; married by Diane at Logie House - Andrew came all the way home from Australia to find his perfect partner in Nicola!
Mr and Mrs Smart; married by Bryan at Meldrum House where there was an interesting story about socks!
Mrs and Mrs Westhead-Taylor; married by Louise at Drumtochty Castle – such a wonderfully emotional day!
Mr and Mrs Hobbs; married by Jill at Elsick House – a homecoming for Stonehaven born Julian with his bride Liz and lots of guests from south of the border enjoying our Humanist wedding ceremony.
Mr and Mrs Barton; married by Gordon at Cluny Castle with a Sabre Arch from Jonathan’s army colleagues – best friends became husband and wife.
Mr and Mrs McTighe; married by Louise on the shores of Loch Kinord – a stunning setting and right where Chris proposed to Hana…
Mr and Mrs Robertson; married by Jill at Inn at the Park complete with Dumbledore quote and Harry Potter garden!
Mr and Mrs Thomson; married by Bryan at the newly reopened Ardoe House - Yay!
Mr and Mrs Boyne; married by Diane at Norwood Hall with their lovely children Tyler standing as Best Man and Layla as Maid of Honour!

To all our very dear fellow suppliers, couples and friends – we can’t quite believe that we should all be in full swing at the Your Wedding Exhibition today! We are really missing the buzz, the camaraderie and catching up with everyone.
Time has flown since last year and certainly none of us saw our current situation coming along.
It’s been a difficult year for everyone; from couples hoping to marry and all the suppliers who were working alongside them but we have high hopes that Spring and Summer will see us all back in the swing of things!
In the meantime, here’s the link to the YWE for a taste of what we can all look forward to next year!

To all our lovely couples who might be wondering and worrying about their up and coming wedding celebrations,
We appreciate these are indeed worrying times however, rest assured, we at Ceremonies.Scot are planning to honour all our reserved dates at this time. Even if one of us should fall ill, as we are a team of celebrants working together, we can reassure you that one of us will be available to conduct your ceremony, as far as is humanly possible.
If you think your venue may be unable to host your wedding day as planned then we are more than happy to help you rearrange a venue for your date – bear in mind, we can come to you or you to us, if need be. We have married couples in their gardens, living rooms and even their favourite woodland walks so anything is possible!
If you decide to move your ceremony to a future date then we will do all we can to help in this circumstance.
Please let us know if we can help in any way at all,
With our very best wishes,
The Team at Ceremonies.Scot
It was a rare Saturday without a wedding so I decided to scope out a wedding location. However with storm Dennis blowing in, perhaps, Tap o’ Noth wasn’t the best choice!
The top is large area enclosed by the vitrified wall of an Iron Age fort. For an outdoor and energetic couple it would make an ideal location, however all the guests would need to be fit! Although only about 1.5 miles from the car park to the summit the gradient is substantial and takes about an hour walking.
Sorry, there aren’t more photos at the top but Dennis was playing up and no time to linger!

Great fun was had by all as we got together for our spring team Day event at the fantastic House of Schivas.
Many thanks to Nicola for hosting our event and to her team for a delicious lunch as well as to Donald Phillips from Confidence to Speak for our voice coaching session.
As you can see, we were having so much fun, we completely forgot to take any photographs until we were almost finished for the day and were busy tying each other up with our handfasting ribbons!
Looking forward to a great year ahead with the Team. #spring #team #humanist #wedding #fun
Merry Christmas everyone - at ARI, hope I don’t scare everyone in the High Dependency Unit! A big thanks for all the NHS for their professionalism, care and hard work - 365 days a year including today! Yay for the NHS.
Well, today saw us conduct our last ceremony of the year – a second baby welcoming for a lovely couple we married back in 2016. This year has been so very busy; we have helped families and friends say farewell to loved ones and we have joined many lovely couples in marriage as well as celebrating new arrivals as families grow.
We have also welcomed new arrivals to the Ceremonies.Scot family in the form of Gordon and Kathleen and so we are now a little team of seven; stretching from Ayrshire to Aberdeenshire!
All that’s left for us to do is wish all our family and friends a very peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year! Best wishes from all of us at Ceremonies.Scot. #christmas #seasongreetings #festive #humanist
We ventured to Scottish venues far and wide yesterday! 🏴🖋📜
Bryan’s betrothed’s back drop was Craigston Castle by Turriff. Karen’s coupling came about at Dalswinton Estate, Dumfries. Louise’s lovematch location was Tinto Hotel, Symington.
Thainstone House, Inverurie staged Jill’s ‘I do’s’ and joining of two and Shane’s secluded ceremony setting was Loch Tay’s ‘The Oyster Lodge.
What a joyous day all round 🌸💕.
Wishing our newlyweds every future happiness...
