This year marks the 25th Knowsley Flower Show and traditionally, the flower that marks a 25th anniversary is the Iris. As the Iris flowering season is beginning now, we would love you to share photos of Irises growing in your garden or neighbourhood for a special online gallery. This beauty is a Filderkraut cabbage, grown by one of our top growers, Keith Silcock.
Keith says the secret to its size is an initial high nitrogen feed and later plenty of tomato feed to help it grow.
We'd say that certainly looks like it was a winning formula!

We're a little in love with these spectacular dahlias, grown by Derek Brookes.
Derek is one of our top exhibitors at Knowsley Flower Show, and like some of our other expert growers, he's been sharing some behind the scenes photos of his garden to mark what should have been the Flower Show weekend.
It certainly brings back lots of happy memories of those gorgeous cut flowers in the Floral Marquee each year.

This is the stunning front garden of Christine Yates, our show secretary.
Christine has been advising and supporting our novice gardeners for years - and wowing her neighbours with this gorgeous display, too!
