Just to let you all know that although we no longer have any events in the pipeline for Central RnR we do have our sister club Thringstone Rock n Roll which is just 5-10mins away from the Central, currently hosting monthly record hops with the aim to have the odd band night in between, and using the money raised from the record hops to fund having the bands!! We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the club last night for our Record Hop and DJ Battle... It was a great night I'm sure youll agree and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!! However.... Sadly we still lacked numbers again. To put into perspective how bad things have been our highest attendance this year was 35 people!! 35 people paying £10 each is £350 and our cheapest band this year was £500 - so it doesn't take an expert to work out just how much we have lost at not just one but every event we have had in the last 6 months. Bear in mind that's our highest attendance and most nights we have had as low as 20 people in or even less!! We genuinely don't understand what we've done wrong.... We go out to other events in the area personally flyering, we have others that help flyer for us too, we share our events everywhere we possibly can online, have a website for anyone not on social media, have magazine adverts in Rockin magazines and radio jingles, and have brilliant top quality bands and djs.... And yet we can't get more than 20 people to our club?!?! You question if it's you, because we couldn't have done more if we tried!!.....
... But sadly the The Central Bar And Venue Ibstock have took the hard decision to cancel the night because it has been costing them to have the night on too. We'd like to take the opportunity to thank the central bar for supporting our night as much as they possibly could and for all the effort they too had to put into our events, we are more than greatful!! They also kindly gave us an extra 6 months at their expense and ours too to try and turn the club around but with no luck it's not fair on the venue or ourselves to keep the club going and are 100% in agreement with their decision!!

We thank you all for your support and to those who have been without fail we can't thank you enough and we are sorry that we have taken what was your night away too but I'm sure you can all agree numbers have been terrible for a long time.
It's not the end though, we will still be Continuing to hold monthly record hops and DJ Battle nights at our sister club Thringstone Rock n Roll so please head over and give the page a like and follow and help us spread the word because numbers have been suffering there too, so let's not let that club dissapear as well.... Use it or sadly you WILL loose it!! ❤️🎶👍

This Friday is now going to be a Record hop but with a bit of. Difference because not only will we be having 2 Vinyl DJs rockin Daniel and DJ Whiskey Jean playing a set each of your favourite 50s dance tracks, but at some point during the night both djs will go back to back, feeding off each other with a friendly battle to try and top the song that's just been played to keep the dance floor busy throughout!! Just £5!!

So we are very sorry to inform you all that due to lack of numbers at our events this year's we have had to cancel all bands for this year because we just can't possibly afford to have them anymore sadly. So instead we will be proceeding with record hops instead for every event... Was hoping to do a more lengthy post regarding this but the cats out the back shall we say so felt I'd best hop on and post about it now!! With this in mind this Friday will still be going ahead but as a record hop only with DJ Rockin Daniel and DJ Whiskey Jean..... We apologise for any disappointment and are very sorry but we just can't afford any more bands x NOTE THIS IS ONLY ROCK N ROLL BAND NIGHTS EVERY 1st FRI OF MONTH, NOW WILL ONLY BE RECORD HOP

Firstly let's start off by saying a huge thank you to Dani West & The Southernaires for putting on such a great show last night!! They were absolutely brilliant and it was a great pleasure to have you at our club!! 😍❤️🎶 Sadly However, and it's certainly no reflection on the band in any way, we had extremely low numbers in attendance again last night and made a massive loss as we suspect the venue did too!! 😔💔

To everyone who did attend, we can't thank you enough and we are sure you would agree what a great band people missed!! An intimate crowd but so appreciative and this did not go un noticed by the band either and they have said how greatful they were to you all for making it a great night!! 🥰❤️

We need to go away and have a really good think to see if there's any possible way to keep the club going and will be trying to look for perhaps a sponsor or 2 to help support us and the venue for nights like last night so we can make sure the events are not costing anyone involved, but there's no way either the venue or ourselves can keep going how we are!! Please keep an eye on this page for more information. As things stand nothing has been cancelled, so until we say otherwise please treat all events as going ahead, but we do need to find a way to make it worth ours and the venues time and isn't costing us!! Tonight!!! Not to be missed, a night with Dani West & The Southernaires at The Central Bar And Venue Ibstock Leicestershire!! Just £10 on the door - event starts 7.30pm Band on stage 9pm!! Plus DJ Whiskey Jean from SplinterWood Radio!! And what's more you don't have to worry about the warm weather because the venue has Air Con to keep you nice and cool!!
