Hi all .. terrible news and there’s no way to sugarcoat it. The piggies are no longer continuing, I know we haven’t been at it 5 minutes 😂 but we have learnt that to have your own shop where everything is home made, isn’t easy-its very time consuming working from 7am to what was sometimes 11pm - family life has suffered and Richard is about to be a father and we don’t see how it can all fit in. The shop it’s self has been blinding 😂 it’s growing nicely ! The response and support from you guys has been amazing and dam we are truly sorry! For now though, we appreciate everything. Who knows maybe the posh piggies logo might pop up again sometime.

Morning all .. quick one to tell you I have no cobs today - due to a family emergency at the bakery. They are not baking. So I can’t do any filled cobs or torpedos today - sorry !! ❤️

Happy Saturday from the piggies - just letting you all know we’re still here with a few foodie pics 😂 the posts have been slacking since Easter! Had some big buffet operations on this week it’s taken up a lot of time ! Also been working on some new items like these cheesey pizza twists, cookie dough cheesecakes, chewy cookie sandwiches! Along with the usual fresh piggy produce! You saw it here first my friends ! See you soon for the good stuff 🫶

Morning all - just a reminder that we are closed today and prepping ! Back open tomorrow, hope you all had a good Easter break 🐣 !! Congratulations to these butchers rated Derbyshires best by the telegraph readers, Owen Taylor’s and Barry Fitch butchers are among the top three and here at the piggies we use both, our pork pies are made with Barry’s pork pie meat, the meat pies are made with Taylor’s beef along with the sausage rolls, scotch eggs and various other products 🐷 ! If you want a quality end product it’s good to start the best ingredients!

Happy Good Friday darlings! Open today 8-3 and we loaded .. plenty of scotch eggs since it’s Easter and that! Plain old scotchies, black pudding scotchies which have been made with our homemade black pudding, and chorizo and cheese scotchies! Pies, and a rare appearance from the birthday cake blondie. Plenty of cornflake blondie 🫶

Piggies here .. with an Easter extravaganza and a little winning opportunity 🐷what you see before you is the Piggy Golden Egg !! That’s the whole egg .. surgically packed to the rafters with goodness.. a hot cross caramel cheesecake, roasted white chocolate and mini eggs, finished with 24k carrot edible gold .. it’s lovely! Like something W***y Wonka might knock up with his little singing pals!
Flogging these at 10 English pounds! And since we’re so last minute I’m gonna give you tomorrow to order these for Saturday collection 😂 I’m sorry !!

These little piggies went to market .. got some gear made some lovely jam and smashed that Bakewell tart out 🫶 I’ve been told we don’t post enough 😂😂 So we’re here clogging up your news feed with foodie pictures and information 🤣 information about this corporate lunch we prepared full of homemade goodness! Yesss I’m aware there may be cheaper buffets ? I dunno, but as me old boss used to tell me. You get what you pay for! And if your paying the piggies you know your payin for quality! Ooh look .. the Durham ox are launching this rather inspirational new menu on the 22nd of March and it’s got a little feature from the piggies on it! The cornflake blondie everybody’s raving about 🐷 only it’s elevated and they’ll do a better job of serving it up than we do in our paper bags 😂 wonderful to be collaborating with such an esteemed place to eat!! Thanks guys 🫶

Shipped the steak pie down to Melton Mowbray on Tuesday .. Got the bronze award from the critics - and while some of you may think it’s only bronze, to go up against the top pie producers in Britain and come away with a little something 👌 we are buzzing with it to be honest. So now at the piggies we have our own award winning handmade steak pie. Which is just great 😂

Piggy treats 🐷 lots going on today - cookie pies, pork pies, carrot cakes! That smoky barbecue brisket 🥊 and what I like to call - the brounty 😂 genius I know 😂😂 We got the potted beef not to be confused with potted meat!! Looking to get some kind of delivery service sorted in the coming future also ! Love and light from the piggies x

Saturday is here .. takeaways are expensive! You know what isn’t expensive, posh piggies ready meals 😂 what do we have today!
We got the classic Lasagne, simply add 1 oven, a little time and some garlic bread chips and salad! That’s tea sorted and ya back sipping a crisp beverage - chilling before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
We also have a Thai Massaman beef curry.
Beef bourguignon and a side of dauphinoise potatoes should ya fancy it! Xx
