Christmas Hours
We will be open Friday 20th and Saturday 21st, then we will be closed until Saturday 4th January.
I will endeavour to get as much finished as possible for collection before Christmas.

Busy weekend with alterations. Removed the train on this lovely wedding dress and I was quite happy how the worn out jacket turned out.

Finally got chance to make some Christmas gifts to sell. Knitting bags for mum, nana or grandma. £20 each, hand crafted.
Or you could come make your own gift for that special person

A customer is currently undergoing dialysis treatment and we’ve tried a few options to keep him warm and stylish. Zipping his sleeve on and off has proven to be the best option - 3 down a few more to go, as soon as the zips arrive. We started to count the weeks down to Christmas too, maybe I’ll get chance to make some Christmas gifts! Join me?

The wedding was a huge success and now back to reality. On catch up tomorrow.
We’re getting requests for beginners workshops, so if you are interested, please let me know so we can plan a day to accommodate you. Friday afternoon sewing bee is a good session to start making those Christmas gifts or decorations.

Just a little reminder that we will be closed on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November. We are desperately trying to get as much done for collection as the next collection with be 8th.
This Saturday at 1pm we are running a beginners workshop, £30 1pm to 3pm, places available.

I just want to apologise to anyone waiting for alterations. I am trying my very best to meet everyone’s requirements. The exhibition really threw me, but having just gone to meet someone for a collection and got the wrong item, and it wasn’t ready. I apologised profusely, but she was VERY rude!
Again I am so sorry if there is a delay.
I was so happy this weekend with my work of relining another winter coat. But thank you for your patience xx

It’s the middle of the week already, and I haven’t celebrated the weekend work in the shop 🤦🏼‍♀️ From an absolute beginner, fully lined and invisible zip dress finished. What an excellent job 🥰 We have our own flag up, now I feel part of the community. Time to start preparing for the summer, what about coming to make a pair of shorts or that favourite summer dress needs to TLC.
