Yesterday’s beautiful evening wedding celebration for Judith & John with their nearest and dearest at near Selkirk. There was sunshine, rain, some chess inside the tower and a beautiful twinkly room set up for the evening by the amazing Katie and yummy food by the awesome ❤️ I loved spending time with these two and capturing some moments for them to remember aswell as a first for me having my daughter Alice as my assistant

I love an image with a story behind it. This has to be one of my favourites captured this year. The image of Sarah’s 90-year-old granny watching the dancing at night captures a timeless moment, full of warmth and reflection. She is sitting watching and enjoying the music, her frail hands covered in her blanket to keep her warm. Her expression is serene, maybe even with a hint of nostalgia, as if she’s remembering her own youthful days dancing. Though she’s no longer physically able to join the dance she sways along and enjoys watching the others. As I get to know my couples and their family, I get to know stories that help me capture these special memories for them. ❤️

Delighted to hear the news of my 10th Fearless Award this morning with this image of Chris & Beth at the beautiful in the Cotswolds on their wedding day in January 2022. I was so honoured to shoot this wedding as Chris’ dad Mark and his wife Debbie are great friends of my folks and Mark is an incredible photographer himself , so no pressure! 😂 . For this photo it was evening time in January so pitch dark and I saw lots of guests outside with sparklers and marshmallows. I set up a light and asked Chris & Beth to stand outside by my light and cuddle into one another, I then came inside the barn and shot through one of the small openings in the barn to peek out at them. I then noticed a candle, so added two into my scene to give symmetry. I have entered this photo in the Fearless collections since 2022, another reason to keep entering if you believe in a photo!! 🙌 Thank you Fearless Judges! Also in this post I must do a big shout out to Chris the groom himself who is an amazing Chef at and has just recently been awarded 4 AA rosettes ! If you haven’t visited it’s a must! ❤️

What can I say about . I travelled to Northern Ireland on Sunday, very excited and a little nervous. I prepared myself to speak in front of a group of photographers I had never met, I had no expectations apart from to enjoy it, help the delegates learn and inspire them aswell as achieve a personal goal for myself. I have come away with a massive smile from meeting the nicest bunch of people, I laughed, I cried, I drank Guinness and I hardly slept from the nervous energy of wanting to do my best. I loved every minute of it. Thanks to the amazing team who organised the retreat flawlessly , , Danielle, Ricky,James, Leagh, my lab Digitalab Team for sponsoring the event it was so good to meet the lovely Alex Ingram too! Also the amazing fellow educators and who have created the best platform for learning flash and the beautiful soul that is Giulia Bigi from it was so good to spend these past few days with you all and best of luck to all the lovely delegates who took so much away from the event that they are all buzzing to put into practice. You are all fantastic! Here are a few personal favourites to share with you all….

Loving this arty shot I took a few weeks ago at morning makeup time. Stood outside the window when Aimee was having her makeup done and positioned myself where the clouds surrounded her. I tried colour but much prefer the Black & White as draws you straight to her! ❤️

Saturday was pretty special. Ankitha’s infectious smile on her face all day was my favourite part! Image one was the couple practicing their routine for their first dance and me hiding away snapping in the bushes, image 9 is them during their first dance! Loved these guys and their amazing day at .tower 🙌
