📍Ian Fleming wrote James Bond here, Bob Marley put it on the world map and Usain Bolt made it proud. The birthplace of reggae and the cradle of Rastafarian culture, Jamaica is the Caribbean’s liveliest island.

🕰️Time slows down here, and leisure takes centre stage. Wake up to steaming Blue Mountain coffee and drink to dramatic sunsets at beachfront bars. Explore the half-million-year-old caves at Runaway Bay, refresh yourself under the waterfalls at Ocho Rios, or soak up Negril's zesty vibe.

🍽️For a more immersive experience, take your cue from the locals— dig into jerk food, join festival parades, or horse ride on the beach.

🏝️In Jamaica, you feel like you’re a million miles away from the rigours of routine life – and you are.

1️⃣ Dunn's River Falls Tour

😍 If you've seen Cocktail, you'll remember Tom Cruise and his leading lady enjoying a moment at Dunn's River Falls. And on this half-day tour you'll get to scale one of Jamaica's top natural attractions where you'll leave both astounded and slightly soaked – but it's well worth the journey.

Imagine a 180-metre staircase of rock with water thundering down it and you get the idea of Dunn's River Falls - one of the few waterfalls on earth to wash straight out to sea. But people don't congregate here to just admire them – they scale them – and luckily it's an easy scramble to the summit.

You'll join a guide-led conga chain to get to the top and anyone, from toddlers to seniors, can have a go. But, if you don't fancy the climb, you can follow the trails either side or stay at the base relaxing in the natural pools.

2️⃣ Rick's Cafe Cruise from Seven mile beach

😍This catamaran cruise is all neverending vistas, rum punches and new perspectives. Sail to the sounds of reggae beats, and you'll cruise along the coast of Negril, all the way to Rick's Café. At Jamaica's coolest hangout, you'll watch cliff divers plunge into the sea and, if you are lucky, a blazing Caribbean sunset on the water.

Hop aboard the catamaran at Seven Mile Beach – it's been voted one of the top beaches in the world – and cruise down the Negril coastline, admiring every inch of Jamaica's beauty. Rum punch in hand, enjoy the lilt of the boat over the waves and the sounds of sweet reggae beats. Drop anchor nearby to do some snorkelling, then back on board, we sail on.

We'll come ashore near Rick's Café – a clifftop bar that's a hit with locals and tourists alike, it's been an island institution since the 70s. Enjoy one of their speciality cocktails here or stay on board to watch the cliff jumpers fearlessly hurl themselves into the water. Depending on the season and weather conditions, you also might be able to watch nature's nightly celebration – a beautiful Caribbean sunset. All in all, this is one fantastic outing.

3️⃣ Nine Mile Tour

😍Whether you're a fan of Bob Marley or just want to see the real Jamaica, this one's a must. There's a trip to the music legend's home and burial place and a delicious lunch at a jerk restaurant too.

You'll start with a scenic drive through St. Ann. Known as the ‘garden parish' it's a beautiful area of lush mountains and villages. Climbing up the slopes, you'll head for Nine Miles, the village where Marley was born in 1945. Here, you'll visit his old home, which is now a museum. Wander round viewing the memorabilia as your Rasta guide offers snippets about the reggae king's life before visiting the mausoleum where the musician is laid to rest.

After paying your respects, you'll end the afternoon with a tasty local lunch at Scotchies Jerk Centre – voted by Trip Advisor as one of the top things to do in Jamaica.
