💚 It’s time to get your spring bulbs ordered, why not give a bulb lasagne a go!
Layer up as many different bulbs as you like for a display throughout spring and into summer.
Remember to water your pots though. 💚

💚 Today was dahlia dig day 💚
Dahlia tubers need to be kept frost free and dry over winter as they won’t survive in the ground with the wet & cold Scottish conditions.
Here’s a few tips on how to store them successfully ;
After lifting, store upside down in a dry place for a few weeks to dry them off.
Wrap in newspaper and store in a cool, dry, frost free place.
They can then be planted out the following year after chance of frost has passed - use beer traps to minimise snail & slug damage!
Then enjoy the beautiful blooms!

Woo hoo, Christmas is around the corner and many of you are keen to get this booked, so here are the 2024 dates…….hope to see you there 🎄

Come get creative and learn how to make a beautiful, sustainable Christmas wreath to adorn your door for the festive period.

Choose from a selection of fresh foliage, dried flowers & seed pods, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cones, feathers and berries, finished with a velvet ribbon.

£45pp - Includes
- all materials
- refreshments and a selection of tasty sweet & savory nibbles
- feel free to bring your own bottle.

Woo hoo, surely now it’s Autumn we can talk about Christmas 😊
I shall be hosting a Festive Wreath Workshop at Hilton Aberdeen TECA on Saturday the 23rd of November in addition to my Kintore workshops.
If my Aberdeen followers could like and share I would love to welcome you to kick start the festivities creating a sustainable door wreath.
I shall have foliage, dried flowers, seed heads, cones, orange slices, feathers and more to allow you to create something totally unique.

💚 Would anyone near Kintore like some Dhalia tubers, these are beautiful but not ideal for bouquet making.
I shall be digging them up soon, seems a waste for them to go on the compost heap!
