Another beautiful wedding set up! Congratulations Jess & Mark who married at Woolverstone Hall earlier this month! 💕

They held an intimate ceremony in our Leggett Room before moving through to The Orangery for their wedding breakfast and to continue the celebrations. We love the details included in their choice of decorations - especially the mirror at the entrance.

A beautiful ceremony set up by today in our orangerie.

Such a light, airy room which is so versatile.

Seating up to 120 people and easily turned around for the wedding breakfast and then to make space for the dance floor.

The gorgeous drapes can cover the band set up or disco ready to be revealed in the evening.

This transformation can all take place whilst you and your guests enjoy all the other gorgeous rooms and stunning grounds whilst getting your very special wedding photos done and enjoying the great hospitality from whichever caterers you have decided to use and any other extra entertainment you may have.

You have the flexibility to have exactly what you want (within certain limits of the ts & cs)

Let's talk food...an integral part to any wedding celebration!

These beauties were prepared by the fab team for the latest wedding we had and we were lucky enough to try one too...one of very many perks of my working at weddings 😊💖😊

What's on your food wish list?

There's so much to choose from and so much fun to be had at taster sessions.

One thing many couples forget is who will cut the cake...ask you caterer if they can do it and if they provide the knives.

These small attention to details can make a big difference to the day.

Cake cutting is not my forte but I have been left with that job a few times using whatever knives I can find!

Your caterers should offer this, if not, make sure you ask.

See if they serve drinks, provide glasses etc and clothes for tables.

Some venues will have this covered for you, others you need to make sure everything is covered yourselves!

Even writing this makes me realise how much there is to think about and why having a wedding planner is so helpful!

We are very happy to have Jamie Lee Smith on our recommended list who will have everything covered for you.

Anyone else feeling the heat??!

Fortunately at Woolverstone Hall we have so much space and some beautiful shady spots to keep you and your guests cool 💙

From the tree lined walk from the church to the hall to the canopies on the beautiful river lawns. You can enjoy the gentle breeze coming off the Orwell estuary 🌬

For those who prefer to stay inside you will be able to relax and enjoy the airy space in the orangerie, lounge on our lovely leather sofas in the oval room or hide out next to the bar in the oak room! 🥂

There's a place for everyone and of course for any sun worshippers there's plenty of places to top up the tan whilst sipping on your preferred tipple...just don't forget the sun cream ! 🌞

Not only do we have the most amazing venue for your wedding reception and ceremony we are also lucky enough to have a stunning Church nestled within the Woolverstone estate, allowing you to have the most beautiful Church wedding within walking distance of the hall and our on sure accommodation 💒💖💒

St Michael’s is part of the Two Rivers Benefice, of five churches - Holbrook, Stutton, Freston, Wherstead and Woolverstone 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Even with renovations carried out in the 1800s, the church continues to be a beautiful example of what is predominantly a 15th century structure, with both the tower and porch remaining untouched💒

Affectionately known as ‘Church in the Park’ St Michael’s is a delightful setting for a ceremony. 🖼

Also, the organ was made by the same designer as the organ at the Royal Albert Hall!! What a way to accompany any hymns you'll be singing....my favourite Love Devine!🎶
