Yesterday lunchtime I took a call from my friends Mark and Lesley from . They told me that they had decided to retire and would be finishing at the end of the year.

I am sure that all of my brides from the last 20 years who have worn at Marklesley gown would like to wish them well on their next step of their wonderful life. Time for relaxation, some travel and chill out time.

They have also been a great support to myself and husband during my husband’s illness and their kindness has been exceptional.

I know that the industry will miss these two amazing people but it is time to now live a different life without work. So… bring it on 😂.

Just a little reminder to you that don’t forget we have moved to our stunning new premises, only 4 miles from our old location on Norwich Road. We are pleased to offer free on site parking and a calm and relaxing atmosphere in a grade 2 listed barn. We have also increased our stock and have around 150 different styles to choose from, plus we have changed our opening times to accommodate everyone and their working life. We started out with a small shop in Little Clacton, Essex, and grew from a 2 room boutique from 1993-1997 to a large, multi fitting-room premises in Norwich Road, Ipswich, Suffolk. We moved further up Norwich Road in 2012 and now have a spacious and personalised shop that can cater to your every need.
