A fab afternoon with Sammi’s Facepainting. & Katherine Cresswell - Tropic Skin Care Ambassador to celebrate Ava's 7th Birthday.

The recipe:-
Chocolate Tart
For the crust:- 100g dairy free marg such as Pure/Vytalite 300g gluten/dairy free digestive (I used ginger) biscuits crushed to fine crumbs

For the filling:- 200g dark chocolate (check ingredients list carefully) broken into chunks 125ml coconut oil (I used rapeseed oil) 200ml coconut milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1tbsp cocoa powder for dusting

Grease a 23cm (9in) tart tin.
Melt the margarine in a pan over low heat, then add the crushed biscuits and stir to combine. Press the mixture firmly into the tart tin covering it evenly. Pop it into the fridge.
Combine the chocolate, oil, coconut milk and vanilla extract in a pan over a low heat and stir occasionally until the chocolate has melted. Pour it over the biscuit base.
Leave the mixture to cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Dust with the cocoa powder before serving

It has been very quiet at Savvy Event Planner HQ due to the arrival of my little helper ladt year but its time to get planning again & it's all coming together nicely for our 7th annual funday!!!
