Our venue dates back to 1572, originally built as a Dower House for Lord Cornwallis's mother. During the Victorian era, the home eventually evolved into the local rectory.

In recent years, we lovingly blended the past with the present, adding our touch of magic to the space.

Combining its rustic charm with modern amenities, and adding a luxurious permanent marquee, we’ve created the perfect setting for your wedding, with fully licensed areas throughout the house and grounds ✨

There’s no need to outsource suppliers—we provide everything in-house, with a dedicated bar with professional staff in both The Pavilion and The Rectory.

Our all-inclusive wedding packages include 2 glasses of sparkling wine and half a bottle of wine per guest. We’re also happy to customise your drink menu with signature cocktails if needed 🍸

“Wonderful day. The team at The Oaksmere were fantastic; nothing was too much for them. Our day was made even better by their professionalism.

The food was lovely, and the service was second to none. They definitely made our day very special. They accommodated disabled guests, the elderly, small children and even babies. Special diets for a few guests were not a problem. Hats off to the chef and thank you to all of you x”
