Our sheep exhibitors are so spoilt they even get pre-completed movement licences! It’s the least we can do to thank them for our fantastic number of entries, our visitors are going to be amazed by the sheep lines this year, especially with the huge numbers entered into the Fancy Dress class. We can’t wait to see them!

Our car stickers for 2025 are out and about now, some of our stewards might want to get the hose out though! Huge thanks to Ellisons for their continued sponsorship of these, they really do look fab this year. Have you spotted one yet?

If the little legs are getting tired, Lennie the Landtrain is back with us for the 2025 show. Pick up a seat from one of the stops around the showground and get a view of the show from the comfort of a seat. Look out for the stops around the show.

When we said on Sunday it was just over 2 weeks until entries close what we really meant was IT IS ONE WEEK until they close and our secretary appears not to know what the day is anymore.

ENTRIES CLOSE FOR CATTLE, ART and EQUINE this SUNDAY at midnight! Please, if you are hoping to enter get them in before then as we can’t take entries once the system closes.

There are just over 2 weeks until our entries for cattle and equine close at midnight on Sunday 13th April. We do not accept any late entries after this date. If you haven't made a start on your entries it would be great to get them in if you can please!

Schedules are on our website under Competitors then Schedules to see all of the classes. Entries - you just need to register if you haven't entered at Hadleigh before or login to your account, if you can't remember your password please use the forgotten password link at the login page and check your emails, have a snoop in your spam file if it hasn't arrived as sometimes they get lost in there.

Last night’s activity was sheep numbering and putting packs together ready for our exhibitors. Each animal in the sheep classes has an individual number, if you’re judging along, look for their triangle and see if your favourite sheep wins!

Our schools who compete in the Education Tent competitions win gardening vouchers as prizes, the brilliant children at Beaumont Primary spent their vouchers on plants, bulbs and seeds for their Covid Memorial Garden, doesn’t it look lovely?

We have a dedicated baby feed and change area, it is situated by the side of the Food Hall and next to the Art Show. There is seating, a changing area and a quiet space to feed if you need to, we don't want any grumpy faces!

DEFRA, the department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will be having a stand at the show this year. For our non farming visitors, this government department is responsible for agricultural budgets, grant funding for environmental and sustainability projects and regulates things such as animal health, traceability of your food, and food safety.

DEFRA have asked our agricultural community to come and speak to them at the show. To voice your concerns over the cuts to the environmental management schemes and changes to farming taxes. Please get your opinions heard, so they can be taken back to the ministers making decisions
