ONE BIG THANK YOU !

We’ve now closed our doors for the final time, and we will not be taking any further bookings or hosting any further events.
‍
The events team wanted to say a final few words to everyone who has visited Wherstead Park over the years to say thank you for your unwavering loyalty and support.
‍
If you’ve enjoyed our public events during the summer months, attended one of our famous Christmas parties or if you’ve hosted your own special event or wedding here - thank you.
‍
Also, a huge thank you to everyone who we’ve been fortunate enough to work with over the years, including all our suppliers and partners, we couldn’t have done it without you all.

On a personal note, both Jonathan & Nikki wanted to say thank you to our incredible front of house team, you really were the ‘A TEAM’ in our eyes!!

DISCO23 mission accomplished! 🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩

What a final weekend we had celebrating with you all at our last ever event at Wherstead Park!!

Thank you to everyone that partied the night away with us on Friday and Saturday.

A huge thank you must go to all our suppliers, caterers, front of house team, and of course our incredible performers Just Jay Dance Aerial All Stars Essex Deejay Charlotte Moss

We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect ending to our time at Wherstead Park, so a sincere and heartfelt thank you to you all.

The doors may be closing at Wherstead Park, but rest assured, the memories we have all made there will live on for many years to come.

WEEKEND 3 at DISCO23!!

It was most definitely DISCO fever at Wherstead Park this weekend, and thanks to everyone that came and boogied the night away!!

The DISCO weeks have flown by and we can’t quite believe the next weekend is our last ever party nights!

Next weekend is the big one and we promise we’re going out with a bang, and maybe a surprise or two for our attendees!

Weekend No2 DISCO23 and it was a corker!

Another completely sold out run of events, and even the bridge closure and traffic chaos on Friday, didn’t deter our determined party goers from getting here and dancing the night away!

It was sparkles and sequins galore on both nights, and the live entertainment from Just Jay Dance and Aerial All Stars Essex took our breath away once again.

Just four more DISCO nights to go until we close our doors for the final time.

What a way to kick off our Christmas party season!!

DISCO23 opening weekend was incredible!

Thanks to everyone that joined us, we can’t wait to do it all again next week.

A huge thanks to all our performers, artists, casino team, caterers, and of course the incredible front of house team at Wherstead Park, who reminded us once again that you really are the best events team in the business.

Six more party nights to go until we say our goodbyes for the final time, but we are going out with a bang!!

Sadly we have been made aware of yet another FAKE EVENT naming our venue as the host for a Christmas Fayre in December!

The person listing our FAKE event is popping up on lots of different local community pages, so if you see any please report them immediately.

One stall holder almost paid a stall fee via PayPal but thought to check with us first earlier today.

Please be careful and never pay anyone advertising an event we have never mentioned.

The only events we have left between now and the end of December are our sold out DISCO23 party nights, and there are no tickets remaining for any of those dates either.

It’s the last day of our Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza on Sunday.

We can’t believe it’s just one more sleep until we open the doors to our 15th Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza!!

The venue looks beautiful, the stall holders are busy loading in their stock and, despite Storm Ciarán’s best efforts, we stayed on track and got everything ready phew!

Only two more sleeps!!

Well we’ve cracked on today and got the marquee’s and staircases decorated and the place is starting to look a little bit special!

The high winds forecast tonight/tomorrow have meant we’ve taken extra precautions and battened down the hatches too 🌬️ 🎄

The mulled wine ingredients have arrived and the bars are now stocked full of your favorite Christmas tipples.

We have been overwhelmed by how many of you have booked online tickets already, thank you 🙏

It’s sad that we have to say this, but we just needed to warn people that there have been a number of scam posts and comments appearing across social media offering tickets and stalls for our Christmas Shopping Event this weekend 😡

The only place to purchase tickets is via our website or the official AD’s you will see on facebook and Instagram.

Please do not give out your card details to any individuals claiming to be connected to the event.

You can of course pay on the day too.

We can’t wait to see you all this weekend, it’s going to be amazing !!

Three days and counting ! 🎄🧑🏼‍🎄🎅🏼🍷

The Christmas clock is ticking and in just three days time we’ll be opening the doors our Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza!!

All the giant marquees are now up and inside the mansion and atriums the tables are set.

Tomorrow is Christmas decorating day (our favorite bit!) when the grand staircase, marquees and bars are transformed to make them extra twinkly.

This year we are joined by nearly 80 of Suffolks finest local producers, makers and shakers.

Come along and Shop Local, and show your support to the incredible array of independent local producers, crafters and brands this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We’ve had an exciting day as the second giant marquee went up and is now ready to be decorated tomorrow. 🎄🍷🧑🏼‍🎄

Which brings us nicely to our next hero supplier mention.

We are thrilled to have Emma's Florist and her team join us again this year, as one of our local independent businesses in the main atrium hall.
Her festive displays are always breathtaking and we challenge you not to be tempted to buy a decoration or two (or three!)
Even more exciting is that Emma and her team will be decorating our grand staircase and installing a Christmas Tree at the entrance of the Food Quarter marquee!

Is anyone thirsty?

Our Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza wouldn’t be an extravaganza without lots of incredible artisan drinks makers and shakers.

Lots of them can be found in the food quarter directly in front of the Georgian mansion.

Including craft Ales by the to incredible distilled spirits and liqueurs from East Coast Distillery The Old Felixstowe Brewing Co.

Jonathan’s Mulled Wine Bar will be open each day serving cups of delicious festive cheer along with a range of Adnams beers and Niche Cocktails 🎄🍷.
The only decision you’ll need to make is who is the designated driver on the day? 🚗

If hot chocolates and coffee is more your thing both Combat2Coffee and The TeaPod will be on hand to keep you going throughout the show days.

Phase two of the big build starts tomorrow and we’ll keep you posted of what we’re up to right up until showtime on the 3rd November!

It’s just 6 days to go and we’re getting hungry 😋!

We thought it was time to whet your appetites and give you a little sneaky peek of just some of our incredible food vendors and stall holders at next week’s event.

One week to go!!

The team have been busy all week getting all the site maps finalized, stall plans laid out and signage ready and stage one of the big build is now complete.

The team that have worked the hardest this week though is definitely the boys and girls from Suffolk Marquees

The giant food quarter marquee is now in place and then early next week the mulled wine bar marquee goes in.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🤶 🎄🎅🏼

Just 8 days to go woohoo 🎉 🎄🎅🏼🧑🏼‍🎄

As we are celebrating our 15th anniversary of the Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza, we wanted to bring you something really special for the last day of the show.

We are thrilled to announce that the sensational operatic star Christina Johnston will be joining us to perform live not once, but twice on the 5th November.

Singing from the balcony in the main atrium hall at midday and again at 2pm this is a performance not to be missed.

Christina is a dear friend of the events team and after performing this summer to a sold out audience for Opera in the Park, we simply had to ask her to perform one more time for us all.

Christina is famed around the world for her incredible vocal range and we were thrilled when she agreed to join us next weekend.

Our Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and we wanted to celebrate in style with not just shopping but incredible live entertainment too.

The sensational and oh so funky, FUNKY VOICES CHOIR will be joining us on Saturday the 4th November.

They’ll have you all ‘leaping’ like Lords when they perform in the mulled wine bar marquee.

It’s time to start our official 12 day countdown to our Christmas Shopping Event Extravaganza 2023!

Taking place on the 3/4/5 November this is not to be missed.
Over the next 12 days across all our social channels, we’ll be giving you a sneaky peak of what’s to come, including our incredible stall holders, vendors and all things Christmas at Wherstead 🎄🎄

This years shopping event promises to be our biggest and best ever, with more stalls, more entertainment and food vendors galore spread out across the entire site.

Returning by popular demand are our two giant outdoor heated marquees housing our food quarter and famous mulled wine bar and entertainment area 🍷🎤🎄

If last years guest numbers are anything to go by, all bookable tickets will sell out fast, so don’t delay!

All tickets are £3 +eventbrite booking fee and a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to again this year.
