A celebrant can conduct a wedding, naming ceremony or funeral - as long as you have conducted the legal requirements at the local Registry Office. This means you need to register the birth/death or complete the declaratory and contracting words of marriage at your local Registry Office. Celebrants can tailor your ceremony to suit your needs and use words, music and poems that are chosen by you. Is

land Celebrants are not linked to any organisation so we can make sure that your ceremony is conducted your way. For example, we can add your own personally written vows or a handfasting ceremony into your wedding. If it is a second marriage, we can incorporate a special ceremony to signify two families uniting. We will make sure that a funeral service represents the character of your loved one in a memorable and fitting tribute. We can conduct a wedding or naming ceremony anywhere - even your own back garden. Island Celebrants have all trained at the UK College of Celebrancy with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, so you know that you will be getting a high quality service no matter what your needs.

A busy few months for Island Celebrants was kickstarted with a fabulous wedding at a beautiful private residence in Wootton. A yummy grazing table from Pickle & Dill, delicious hog roast from Fat Shauns Outdoor Catering and amazing gardens overlooking The Solent. Fabulous! I do love my job 💕
