Blue Thunder Sound welcomes applicants for a full time warehouse manager based at our warehouse near Ivybridge. With a substantial audio, lighting, staging and power hire stock you will be the back bone of the company ensuring that our equipment stays in the best condition. You will be responsible for making sure that the right kit gets to the right place at the right time. You will demonstrate great maintenance skills, with good experience of basic electronics, mechanics, organisation and most importantly exceptional time keeping. A great team player is essential as you will be expected to lead diverse team.

NEW STOCK ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We're excited to announce a substantial investment in a large Martin Audio WPC System. A shock we know, but fear not we are continuing to stock all of the d&b audiotechnik products that you know us for, actually we have increased quantities of most of the d&b lines that we have!

As our initial investment we have added 24x WPC Line Array Elements, 12x SXH218 Subwoofers, 6x Torus 1230 and 12x IKON 42 Amplifiers, along with the associated rigging, networking and system redundancy. Enough to be getting on with!

We’re looking for a Class 2 Lorry Driver to join our team. We run a fleet of in house lorries that are maintained to a high standard. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team “delivering” a wide range of events and experience some great opportunities, whilst seeing events from another perspective.

This position is full time, however we will also welcome freelance drivers to join our team as well.

We Spent November in the Swamp with Exeter Musical Society on their production of Shrek the Musical.

Providing full technical production services our team worked with the creatives from months ahead of opening night to support the development of the show from page to stage.

Heading into show week our Lighting, Sound, Stage Management and Production Management Teams had a great time alongside EMS volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring the show to life and give the incredible cast the backstage support they require.

Director Isobel said Working with the production team from Blue Thunder was an absolute pleasure from the start. Their experience and knowledge is invaluable and their calm, professional approach made the whole experience so enjoyable. Always at the end of the phone for any questions, of which there were many with this mammoth production! Would highly recommend using Blue Thunder to any company for their shows.

As part of our continued commitment to having a state of the art inventory we’ve just finished upgrading the majority of our stock of d&b audiotechnik D12s with D20s. The D20 is a 4 channel amplifier which is smaller, lighter and has twice the channel count as a D12.
