🛠️ Mid-Week Case Study 📕

A midweek insight into one of our regular events based in Sheffield. Rich used his electrical prowess to rewire the whole venue, an ex-industrial warehouse turned independent event space, making it the perfect location for one of the best street food markets in the UK.

THE EVENT
Peddler Market is a monthly weekend long event consisting of a mix of award-winning street food, craft beer, cocktails, live music and more. It is a non-ticketed event and free to enter.

THE LOCATION
Neepsend, Sheffield

ATTENDEES
Approx. 1,000 people per day

KEY DELIVERABLES
- SPH is the dedicated in-house supplier and consultant to the venue
- Through consolation and observation, Richard Hart from SPH redesigned the electrical installation and rewired the venue to make it suitable for events
- Regular supply of temporary power for catering and food traders. Certification and sign of BS7909
- Regular supply of PA systems for live performance and DJs

Let's kick off the week by getting to know the man behind SPH Event Production! ✨

Rich has been immersed in technical production since 2000, and has spent the last couple of decades delivering projects all over the globe. An early fascination in lighting led to a stint as a sound engineer, which then evolved into technical production management and design.

Rich loves a good bit of kit and is passionate about solving technical problems. He’s happiest turning a client’s ideas and visuals into working deliverable solutions that are impressive and reliable. Rich is well known to his clients to be a trustworthy resource for delivering flawless and high quality results, and when he’s on board, they know the production is one thing that they don’t need to worry about.

🍳 If you ever see him outside of work, it’s likely he’ll be holding a guitar or a saucepan! 🎸
