One of the things we enjoy most about weddings is that no two are ever quite the same.

Different people, different ideas and often very different menus.

Over the years we've catered everything from barbecues and sharing feasts to entirely vegetarian wedding menus, each one shaped around the couple and what matters to them.

Creating something that feels personal is all part of the fun.

Day two of prep for a large, completely vegetarian wedding which kitchen team are all looking forward to seeing come together tomorrow! The prep is huge for this wedding but we are just about ready for action! An absolute team effort - we have baked, picked, roasted, toasted, barbecued, pureed and packed. Weather - please cooperate! Thank you Emma, Delia, Vicky, Judy and Antonia - you are all stars 🌟 Big thank you to Jo too for all the beautiful garden produce we picked. Gold star ⭐

This kale has been growing away quietly while we've been busy elsewhere.

It's one of those crops that asks for very little but gives an awful lot in return. It turns up in soups, salads, sides and occasionally finds its way into things we hadn't originally planned.

The challenge at this time of year isn't growing things. It's keeping up with them!

Wedding days are always a team effort 💪

There are tables to move, vegetables to prep, glasses to polish and usually at least one last-minute problem to solve.

By the end of the day everyone is tired, but seeing guests enjoying themselves makes it worthwhile.
