Here's the results from the Tattie & Sunflower competitions !!

Well done to Emma Thoms who won £50 for 1st and £5 for 3rd prize with her tatties.

And well done to Lynsey Page who won £10 for 2nd prize with her tatties, and £10 + a bottle of wine for 1st prize with her sunflowers.

I think it's well known that tatties have generally suffered blight this year, and we did see plenty of that during the weigh in, but fingers crossed for better crops next year.

Friendly reminder to all users - please leave the hall clean and tidy after use - empty bins and especially sweep the floors. The big brush is kept in the cloakroom between the men's loo and the kitchen, and the dustpan and brush is under the kitchen sink.

The hall gets a really good clean once a week, but we don't have the resource (or funds!) to clean after every booking.

The day the Kelso Laddie came to Sprouston. There wasn't a prize for prettiest horse's bum, but if I had any say in it, there would be. What a great turn out! AND the rain stayed off for us. Close though...
