on the basis that talking about death won’t make it any more likely or less likely to happen…
..and to herald Dying Matters Awareness Week we're organising an open conversation about the realities of death. There's also a Death Cafe to develop the conversation.

We'll have some professionals expert in different areas of death and dying to stimulate the conversation, and copious tea and cake. The plan is to explore areas including the medicalisation of death, spiritual and emotional dimensions, commercial and consumer realities, and also the environmental impact of a funeral and greener choices.
