The last slices of autumn mixed with the wilderness of winter for the last wedding of 2024 ❤️

It has been one heck of a year…

I’m not huge on NYE if I’m being honest. The shift away from gratitude and posts that can often be hard goodbyes or self criticising pressure - make me feel like we’re getting it all wrong.

So I just want to say a massive thank you to all my couples from this year and how full of gratitude I am to you all, the venues I frequent that allow a weirdo like me air time (still can’t believe how nice you are to me) and all my 2025 couples whom I can’t wait to create magic for.

A big thank you too to florist friends who frequent my DMs for finding the courage to just not be di*****ds in an incredibly competitive arena. I value you so much

It has at times been a very difficult year, but one I’m blessed to have experienced surrounded by love and a warm home to hide in.

A special thank you to my best friends who have taught me that soul mates can come outside of romantic connections and for generally being the best bunch of people I’m lucky enough to know

I’m wishing you all a 2025 full of all forms of love, laughter, silliness and kindness.

Totally exhausted by my w**k speech, I’m off to Asda for some s**t champagne and par baked bread!

Have a gone one x

With only one wedding left of 2024 and a glass of mulled wine in my tummy, I’m feeling pretty reflective and full of gratitude.

A very intense and dramatic year in our personal lives, full of emergencies, ongoing diagnoses and operations. But one that’s cemented something I already know, I’m incredibly lucky to have these two ICONS and that being at work with me strengthens and shapes them into even more magnificent humans.

Whilst I could spool off some dribble about things learnt in 2024. For example, how crushingly competitive, brutal and at times cruel the wedding industry can be to suppliers - BUT I genuinely do not care anymore.

It’s ENOUGH to be part of your magic whilst growing and protecting my own. There’s nothing of any other value or anything of consequence that deserves my energy.

So thank you to these two, who shape your wedding as much as I do and to ALL my wonderful couples this year who have shown me such respect and gratitude that I have needed for nothing. You have been sheer delight.

I’ll warm up another glass of s**t mulled wine and raise it to every single working mum, especially those who bring their kids to work and every single one of my couples past and future ❤️

Merry Christmas Guys from The 3 Flower Elves x

Bejewelled with all the richness of Winter for Alexandra and Daniel ((and MaxyMoo))

The depth of rich colours combined with peaches and cream to soften, will forever be one of my favourite colour combinations.

Slices of summer to warm your soul as we all finally get the cold we moaned about missing…

A gorgeous day of refined brights at with a brief evocative of The Secret Garden, minus that weirdo Medlock trying to send all the kids to boarding school, SUCH a Debbie Downer.

We stayed on site to repurpose ALL the florals possible and created several styled stages to both wow and captivate guests. If they aren’t talking about how stun the flowers are, I’m not sleeping at night. I laugh but it’s also so true I cry, serial perfectionist.

One of my most favourite venues to style, as matching then complimenting the character, light and history can be an interesting design challenge. But I’m taking this as a win.

A depth of gratitude to for these GORGEOUS images, a couple SO cool they made me feel like a bag lady all day.

Off to feed some pigeons Huns ❤️

I’m going to be very candid.

Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel wreaths this year, minus a couple of very small hotel ones I’m contracted to. I have issued full refunds and cancelled the event online for any ticket sales.

Those of you who know me well, know that I’m a huge introvert often overwhelmed by people, despite how much I love them. I adore all my couples and give weddings my absolute all both physically and mentally, which is why I limit them to one a week as I can find it very intense work.

However, you’ll also know that my partner had a very bad road accident a couple months ago and hasn’t been able to either work full time or drive since. The consequence has been an increase in the intensity of work both at home and on the farm, alongside my own full time role. He is still having on going tests as we get to the bottom behind what caused the seizure that caused the crash. This remains an ongoing health issue.

For this reason, I need to focus all my energy outside of home on my existing couples for the remainder of the year and whilst a single wedding is a lot more work than 100 wreaths, the mere idea of being in a room with that many people all day feels like climbing Everest.

If you’re a November or December couple please don’t worry, I’m absolutely here for it and can’t bloody wait! But mentally my overwhelm to the current situation is manifesting in anxiety of crowds and I just don’t have the energy to be wreath Sam this year for a full 12 hours.

Please accept my apologies and I can only thank you for being so kind patient and understanding

Sam x

Have you been catfished? I’m here to help bury sweet Bobby…

You guys know I’m out there loving Pinterest on a daily basis, but how many times have I had the awkward and very real conversation about how badly photographically filtered the florals on there and other platforms are? (And I mean badly as in poor to life, don’t come for me)

Like 7,000 f’ing million times.

Do we love darker edits in autumn and winter? Hell to the YES, I’m here for them ALL YEAR ROUND.
Do I live for a light and airy timeless photo feel? Totes.

But trying to demonstrate to couples who have curated boards based on moody hues and artistic / ‘fashion forward’ edits that those floral colours do indeed NOT exist, or that in order to create them I can’t use the florals in that actually photo - is a very difficult one to swallow if you’re set on a look that isn’t grounded in any version of reality.

So let me help you. I’m here to sink sweet Bobby and show you more than often how florals look IN TRUE LIGHT on the grid.

Because on your actual day - THAT’S your aesthetic and I’m the one that’s going to create it ❤️

Welcome to what flowers really look like, filter free 🤙

Ellie and Owain…. Sh***ng hell HOW STUNNING. That’s a technical term btw.

Look no further for your elevated autumnal aesthetic and feast your eyes on these delicious goodies from

A warm rich textural floral brief with oodles and lashings of flowers. Delicious.

My Instagram game remains weak and I’m increasingly absent from stories (a big relief to some of you) but I’m still in FULL FLORAL SWING as there’s no wind down in season over at FRF HQ. In matter of fact we’re booked right up until NYE, which is awesome because I loathe that holiday - anyone else???!!!

Limited places remain for next year but please reach out for any autumn dates as two weeks do remain - and if no one books them I’ll probably do something stupid like book a camper holiday in vegas.

Rosie and Alex and their effortlessly refined look over at this weekend past.

Together we worked to carve out a refined end of summer start of autumn aesthetic with clean lines and editorial nods.

The almost neon effectiveness of the hot pinks was subtly pulled back with lilacs and the faintest touches of yellows, while the burnt orange and saffron background tones worked to add dimension to the colours - providing a warmth needed for October that ushered in a palette evocative of seasonal change.

Then to lift and elevate the mood, giving that ‘old money or editorial’ Pinterest aesthetic - we introduced an explosion of SMALL DETAILS that enchanted guests, drew a subconscious eye back to Rosies dress and warmed the seasonal feel with hand stitched embroidery and subtle bow details.

The wonky stems filled bud vases richly whilst different heights of deep pink candlelight made sure to highlight each detail and create dancing floral shapes on the pristinely hemmed runners.

Clean Matt white podiums to display floral scapes added a modern feel that gave off a warm soft light and framed the couple perfectly for the ceremony.

A moment please for and the wedding of Katie and James over at the perfect , a symphony of warm whites and blues styled organically with texture, movement and whimsical elements throughout.

One of my favourite look books for this year and I’m so glad to see this playful palette continue long into next year. Captured effortlessly and timelessly by whose natural light and airy style compliments this look to perfection.

We decided to invest the majority of the budget in installation florals for big wow impact that could be repurposed and restyled throughout each stage of the day. ALWAYS worth doing in my mind rather than spending 1/3 on Bridesmaids or personal florals.

The stunning horseshoe nest was met by a soft broken arch on both ends and teamed with soft drapes and white festoons - proper sexy.

We pulled back on tables, going minimal with a few bud vases and heavy candle light - before restyling the nest into 5 floor pieces which each became a meadow end for a corresponding row of trestles. The soft broken arch was used to bookcase frame the large top table, ensuring the aesthetic was seen in both barns by split guest seating arrangements.

Viola.

Then if that wasn’t enough, the incredible team at town head ((big up Tanya and Beth)) restyled the broken arch into this stunning evening display complete with cake from

If you go down to the woods today…

You’ll probably find me clutching broken tree branches, buckled knees, wind in my messy hair like a 90’s Micheal Jackson in ‘Earth Song’ ugly sobbing, fluid pouring from my eyes and nose because Emily and Ollys big day came and ended far too soon.

If you don’t understand that reference I’m absolutely 100% too old to be your Florist. Thank god for for capturing the smaller details to soften the blow of my heartache and allow me to remember HOW STUNNING ALL THIS WAS.

For the sake of sounding even more tragic ((in for a penny)) please book me if you’re getting married because I love it here and my style literally compliments it like Salt does Pepper.

The biggest reason ((I think)) you should book me…

My attention to detail and the way it matches closely with my experience of how other suppliers work, the light and set up of venues and the quality of product that ensures you receive.

I particularly understand where and how your photographer will need to stand to get shots based on your ceremony set up and guest count.

I understand that florals you may not see or interact with on the day mean nothing to you, but that having the backs of your decor as beautiful as the front WILL translate in your images. There will be SO many things you don’t notice I’ve even done, until you get your images back.

My attention to detail across the board will not let you down. The quality of the service I provide will be an investment that rewards you long after the day has gone, this is something feedback is consistent on and I couldn’t be prouder of that.

The 360 and Birds Eye of these florals captured without fault and full of romance by who I can’t thank enough.

A little sneak at tomorrow’s unfiltered soft colour scheme… Blue and White has been HUGE this year and is looking likely to be just as big in 2025.

Here however, the introduction of peach tones evokes soft summer feels and in a red hued barn setting - helps bring the look of both the florals and the venue together.

Peach Florals can be by nature very rigid, however the inclusion of florals that can be reflexed and manipulated allows for the light and airy intentional organic look to be kept.

Fresh and Light but also Warm and Earthy.
