🎄 🎅 CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN 🎅 🎄

From today, 1st December to Xmas Eve we will be supplying our Festive Afternoon Teas individually boxed at £7.50 or a big box for two to share at £15.00. Our kids festive snack box is just £5.00 and all of these are available for collection from our home on Calder Drive, Kendal or delivery (£1.50 in Kendal) and we deliver within a 15 mile radius of Kendal. We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements so please let us know if you need to make any changes. These are great to order as gifts for family and friends to let them know you miss them and are thinking about them, or of course, for yourself! We also have gift vouchers which can be redeemed against any of our menus, boxes or platters. ⛄️ ❄️ ⭐️ HO! HO! HO! ⭐️ ❄️ ⛄️

🌟 NEW - We are now supplying buns to Premier Lakes Movies. They are freshly made every day using delicious barm cakes from . There’s a variety of fillings so no need to make a packed lunch at home - just pop in, they have everything that you need. 👍😊

It’s not too late to order children’s lunches for tomorrow. Sausage and mash served with peas or beans, flapjack, yoghurt and fruit or a packed lunch if they prefer with sandwich, crisps, fruit, yoghurt and cake. Please get in touch on 07891 636452. The cauldrons are available to order for collection or delivery from £5.00. Each one contains a sandwich (choose ham, cheese spread, jam or tuna mayo) quavers, a Freddo, babybel, grapes, a sausage roll, a fruit shoot bottle and a Halloween cupcake so you can eat, drink and be scary!!! 👻 🕷 🎃

We are still doing afternoon teas @ £5.00 which includes sandwiches, sausage roll, pork pie, quiche, crisps and a selection of 4 cakes and traybakes plus a scone with jam and cream. Choose less cake and more savoury instead for your Dad if that’s what he would prefer! We offer vegetarian, gluten free and vegan afternoon teas too.

Our Ploughman’s Lunch has been really popular with lots of orders coming in for Fathers Day! Generous slices of home roast ham, pork pie, a selection of 3 cheeses, crusty baguette with butter, homemade coleslaw, salad, pickled onions and chutney @ £7.50 per person. A vegetarian lunch with homemade quiche and creamy potato salad to replace the ham and pork pie is also available.

There’s no need for kids to miss out! We now have a children’s afternoon treat box @ £4.00 each. It contains ham, jam, or cheese spread sandwiches (or all 3 if that’s what they would like), a sausage roll or carrot/cucumber sticks, crisps, grapes, a baby bel, a frube, a cupcake and a Freddo!!! It’s great value and boxed up individually for your little ones!

Don’t forget that we deliver 7 days a week or you can collect directly from us in Kendal. Delivery is just £1.50 per address in Kendal.

The bank holiday weekend to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day is approaching and we are making plans to have afternoon tea in the front garden and celebrate over the fences with our neighbours up and down the street.

We held a charity Afternoon Tea for CRY for Cumbria at Netherfield Cricket Club on Sunday as part of our fundraising to bring screening to Kendal in August 2020. We were overwhelmed by the very generous donations from the following local bakers who helped us to raise more than £1600!!

We have wonderful handmade local pies - meat and potato, cheese and onion, chunky steak, chicken and mushroom. Delicious served with piping hot peas, gravy, beetroot, red cabbage and pickles and they are still just £3.75 per head. Price includes disposable crockery, cutlery and napkins.
