I had the privilege of leading a celebration of life service last week for a wonderful man. He was loved dearly and his family miss him more than words can say.

His lovely wife asked Preston Ireland Bowker Funeral Directors specifically for me, having seen me deliver another funeral. It meant such a lot that they found me for her after she had chosen me for such an important job…❤️

She gave me a card afterwards, thanking me for everything I had done 🥹Her kind words made me cry & meant so much!

Did you know? St John’s Hospice offers a free Grief Café session, for anyone experiencing grief once a month at our Courtyard Café. 4:30pm – 6:00pm on the second Tuesday of the month. Next session: 11th Feb 2025.
Please come along, there is no need to book a spot. Here’s what someone who attended said about the experience:
“Grief Café is welcoming, friendly and supportive. It helps to listen to others and talk about how we are dealing with things. I have invited two people who have recently lost someone. They have both attended too and found it helpful.”

// FAITH'S NAMING CEREMONY //

Ah, this beaut's special day back in December was gorgeous!

Faith's parents decided to combine her naming ceremony with her 1st birthday celebrations, so her day was full of family, close friends, cake, and twinkly lights ✨️

I loved writing her ceremony. We shared the family's story and the meaning of her name. We expressed how wanted she was, how loved she was, and thanked everyone there for helping her parents through tough times ❤️ Her guideparents lit special candles to express their own commitment to guiding and supporting her in future.

Faith was an absolute superstar, lapping up the attention and listening intently - dishing out her adorable smiles to make us all melt! 🥰

The lovely Eve left me a wonderful 5* Google review after I worked alongside her and her children to create a service to celebrate the life of her husband. On the day of the funeral, we shared gorgeous stories of their many family adventures, holidays, and their love story starting on the golf course...
