The Belsfield Hotel Windermere, overlooking the northern reaches of Windermere to the mountains beyond. Like many venues in the area, the Belsfield is about to undergo major refurbishment in 2025 so it might be a while until I get the chance to film at this great venue again.

Headed off down my favorite valley in the Lake District today (Borrowdale) and dropped in at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa to see how the refurb was going - it's all done!! And WOW it's fabulous, can't wait to film a wedding there again :)

Back in September I had the pleasure of filming Olivia and Connors wedding at Inn on the Lake. A great day had by all on one of those rare sunny days (you remember the sun don't you? 😁) Since filming you'll be pleased to hear that they are now proud parents to young Jack who was born the following month. Back at the end of October I had the opportunity to film Steph and Blain's wedding day at Cragwood Country House Hotel. Shelly and David almost managed two ceremonies on the same day - but the rain just wouldn't stop so it was 'everyone back inside' for their wedding. Then the sun came back out!

A bit of a day for 'weather' at the Inn on the Lake today for David and Shelly. Heavy mid day showers and a downpour at just the wrong time made for a very fast turnaround to an indoor ceremony.- typical Lake District :) the sun is out now and we're all set for an evening cruise on the lake.
