It’s all in the details 🧡

Sometimes a single element becomes the spark for an entire design.

This shimmer-toned, bronzed red ribbon had been tucked away since last year — beautiful, but it never quite found its place. I knew I wanted to create something around it this year.

I paired it with dried Hot Biscuit amaranth, amber strawflowers, and bronzed seed heads of orach, nigella and allium. Finished with trailing birch twigs, rose hips and bracken to create a richly textured, fire-like wreath glowing with warm bronze tones.

Hannah and I had so much fun photographing the Christmas wreaths!

Creativity struck when we decided to balance a wreath on the truck — and it paid off. The soft light and rusty tones brought out the coppery details on the Ember wreath perfectly. ✨

Fun side note: I thought I was still limber enough to climb into the back of the pickup… turns out my 35-year-old self had other ideas. 😅 After a failed boost from Hannah (and a lot of laughter), a chair was summoned for a slightly more graceful entrance!

A funeral sheaf filled with personal touches 💐

Gift bouquets and the farm stand are now closed for winter 🌸

With the dry spell we’ve had (and still having!), the flowers have naturally started to slow down — and truth be told, so have I.

I’ve got one more wedding and a funeral to create for next week, then I’ll be turning my attention to tidying up the last of the cut flower field and getting everything ready for winter rest.

My shed studio will reopen at the end of November and throughout the Christmas season, alongside East Chase Farm Christmas Trees. You’ll find all my fresh, textured wreaths and the wreath bar ready and waiting.

Looking forward to seeing you over the festive period — it’s always such a lovely time to catch up.

A lemons and white love affair 💛🤍

Our lovely friend (and workmate!) Seb tied the knot with his wife in Warwick, and then brought the party back to our own Wildflower Events Field.

It couldn’t have been a more relaxed, fun day — sunshine, laughter, plenty of flowers, and the best company. Such a special celebration to share together with all of us from East Chase Farm.
