This is my equivalent of a new pencil case.
A little refresh in the studio today.
The beginning of September will always feel like the start of a new year for me.
New energy and focus for work and personal life. The hint of autumn in the air and the season change always makes me happy
Really missing my cosmos this year. Most of these cosmos were from my garden last year. I had loads of different varieties - next year it’s all out war with the slugs!
Just for fun.
A dried wreath made from dead things, dried weeds, seed heads and grasses from the paddock beautiful home.
No tools with me, the wreath frame made from branches and twigs from a chopped down, dried conifer tree and the dried materials poked in throughout. 🌱🍂
Repurposed bridesmaid bouquets.
We’ve done a couple of weddings lately where the brides have had A LOT of bridesmaids, 10 or more - so that’s a lot of bouquets!
When trying to maximise florals to budget we have suggested using these as part of the table ceremony florals which means we’ve had more budget for big statement installations.

A pleasure to flower your wedding at the weekend
Another busy wedding weekend and let’s hope the sun shines. This time last year my cosmos were looking amazing and I had hundreds of apricot lemonade, cupcakes, apricotta, purity, to name just a few.
This year…….I have NONE, 0, zilch thanks to the slugs. Sad times as they are my favourite and I always add them to summer bridal bouquets for that special touch.
The slugs have A LOT to answer for! What are your wins and losses this year?

Beautiful table styling by the team for Emma , she really did think of every detail. LOVED our name place details too. Emma had carefully thought out this colour palette for months and it was a joy to see it all come together. The soft pinks sitting next to vibrant coral, pink and deep crimson worked perfectly.

100% sustainable, using a lot of British flowers and foliage. Relaxed, informal, seasonal, pretty. These don’t come from a soulless plastic binder, they are made with love and with the thought of the persons life being celebrated entwined throughout.
Meaningful, thoughtful, graceful and just beautiful. One of my favourite types of work to design and one of the most rewarding.
