Happy Birthday to my husband aka the flower farmer’s husband 😂
He doesn’t snip flowers or reply to messages but he climbs trees for greenery, mows the grass, moves the sheds when I don’t like where we put it up, constructs polytunnels and low tunnels and again moves them when I change my mind and all the other jobs in between.
He is an all round superstar and I couldn’t be River Garden Flowers without him

Mother’s Day is this Sunday and i’m really excited that we will be able to take a few orders for bouquets 🙌

It’s early in the year for our flowers but the sun has just about shined enough to bring some of them out and with some extra Smith and Munson tulips, they will bring joy to anyone’s day.

Tulips, anemones, narcissi, p***y willow and lots of spring greenery wrapped in brown paper than can be recycled.
Medium bouquet £25, large bouquet £45 with collection from our plot in Kennford, Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.

I always read other people’s hello welcome to my business or this is me post and think wow I must do that….. so finally …

My name is Georgina and I own River Garden Flowers with my husband Neil. Our flower farm is just outside of Exeter, Devon and our season is all year round, with fresh flowers from February till November.

A push bike accident along with a mental health breakdown and a dislike for working in an office got me into the world of growing flowers and I feel very fortunate because life could have been very different.

We grow on about an acre on land both outside and in tunnels. We specialise in cut flowers for florists and event stylists but if you want a show stopper bouquet or subscription flowers then ask away.
Edible flowers for cake bakers and chefs with an emphasis on wedding florals for looks and taste and if you want to style your own cake we can help with that.
Dried flowers are available all year round.
Foliage from bouquet size to large installation branches.

I’m a trained floriculturist and a part trained florist and I like nothing more than working with the incredible talented florists that use my flowers in their work. I’m here to support them in the amazing work they do.
I love my job and the community that is flower farming.

Well here we go another Christmas wreath 😂🫣
This is one of our huge Christmas wreaths. Fully compostable as it has no wire or plastic and we have gone with no moss or bracken to try and make it as sustainable as possible.

It was such a lovely day yesterday getting the many plants we have grown from seed in to the ground 🙌 but I couldn’t resist picking these beautiful feather top grass for drying.

There was a lot of love for this stunning bouquet on my stories yesterday 🫶 thank you 😘
We removed the option to click and buy on our website for all of our products as we prefer a more personal touch. It doesn’t fit everyone as you have to ring, message or email but in a world where we are always rushing around I felt that less rushing and a little more effort really shows when you are giving a gift of love 💕

Amazing day starting some of the bulb planting, some of the early perennial we dug up and divided have gone into there beds, sweat peas have been sown and I might order a few more 🫣
