I'm feeling a lot of love for Nigella at the moment. It is so easy to grow and can be used in so many ways throughout the year. It comes in various colours.
- It's a great filler adding a light touch to arrangements when it is fresh. T
- the fresh seed heads also look great in arrangements and bouquets
- It has a good vase life and decent length stems.
- It dries beautifully and
- the seed heads can be sprayed to add a bit of glam for the season.

If you’ve run out of time to make a fresh wreath this year, don’t panic. Dried Flower Wreaths are beautiful, eco-friendly and, if you keep them out of direct sunlight and away from moisture, will last for years. They are for indoor use only and look great anywhere around your home.
Willow base, no wires used. All of the elements have been grown by me.

As the dahlia season comes to an end, I am busy planning the 2025 season. Labelling up those that are to stay. I will be increasing my stock of high producers with a good vase life and saying good bye to those who haven’t performed so well. I don’t usually lift my dahlias but will for those I want to split and take cutting from. I still haven’t had a frost but production is definitely slowing down.
