July throwback* Wow what an amazing and exciting week stepping out of the boat. I challenged myself to face my fears (Yes I do have them 😉) to do my first ever “Open Mike” on Tuesday, then pushed myself and did one EVERY single day since to improve and increase my confidence. Met some amazingly talented people and was definitely inspired to keep going. Still lots to learn but enjoying the journey so far. Be great to incorporate the Magic with the Music at some point. Really treasure this magical moment with the crowd singing along. A great life lesson in what we should attempt be and to do for others. Encourage, inspire and motivate in a world full of critics. Everyone you meet today has a dream or goal or mountain to overcome. Be kind and sensitive and join them in cheering them on through their fears and insecurities. Someone once said “To truly love someone is to hear someone’s song and then remind them of it when they have forgotten”. Be the change you wish to see because one day this game will be over and we will all be knocking on heavens door . 🔥🙏😎💪👊
It’s not every day you get a standing ovation from your set. I have always wanted to add “Bottle Thru Table” to my repertoire witnessing some of the greats do it so well. Shout out to these legends: Fay Presto, Etienne Pradier, Wayne Fox, Tom Wright, Josh King who in the last year have helped me to find my own style and nuances.
