OH HEY! Fancy getting to know us?! 🫶🏼

We’ve had a quite a few new faces following us since we last did a post like this, so we’re certainly long overdue an update! 🥰

We are Abigail & Luke - a husband and wife filmmaking team living in Kent with our gorgeous one year old Felicity and Ginny our antisocial cat 🐾

We've been shooting weddings for almost six years now and have the privilege of this being our full time career together! Some people say we’re crazy for working full time with our other half, but we love it! 🙌🏼♥️

Here's some facts about us:

Abigail loves:

• Pink peonies (best wedding bouquet flower EVER! 💐)
• Walking in the rain, listening the any Taylor’s Version album going!
• Penguins. I want a pet penguin! 😂🐧

Abigail dislikes:

• Toothpaste Adverts because I cannot stand the cringe 😂
• Ironing… duh

Luke loves:

• Minimalism. Less is more and more is less people!!🤌🏼
• Spreadsheets (accountant, guilty as charged)
• Whitstable Bay Blonde is elite. If you don’t know, get to know!

Luke dislikes:

• Instant coffee (may as well drink muddy water)
• Tomatoes - flavour is great, but the texture is just not the one!

At your wedding you can guarantee that Abigail will tear up at your first kiss (and pretty much any other part of your day!) and Luke will undoubtedly start dancing along during your evening reception, especially if Shakira comes on! Don’t believe us? Make sure it’s on the playlist…

2023 | Bring it on 🥳

Today was our last day out of office, celebrating a DECADE of us being together - mad! It’s also been a day of reflection over the year just gone and the year ahead!

If I’m honest, 2022 was wild - nothing could’ve prepared us to the adjustment required to bring a child into the world and then continue to run the business together through our busiest and best season yet!

It may go unnoticed a lot of the time, but Abs and myself actually put in just as much to this business as each other still - even though I’m the one commonly out filming and meeting all you lovely people right now, Abs is the queen of editing and storytelling! Finding that working balance between us last year was, and continues to be, a challenge but it’s one that I’m excited to face together!

2022 couples - you all rocked and we’re so grateful for your love, support and patience with us! We’re so excited to get these last few films out now!!

2023 couples - it’s go time! We can’t wait to celebrate with you guys this year and create some beautiful memories that you can cherish forever!

This past year has been a big one - quitting your day job and becoming a Dad and I couldn’t be more proud of how you are growing as a person every day ♥️

We are so excited to share this teaser from yesterday’s wedding! It was so special for us - we had the absolute pleasure of watching two of our very good friends get married AND being the ones to capture it for them! Amy & Liam had the best day, full of true love, happiness, family and lots of dancing.

Their day was not dampened by the rain and showcased some of the most emotional speeches we’ve ever heard! Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Cobb!!!

BANK HOLIDAY! • Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend! August has absolutely flown by! We had our first wedding of the year at the start of the month, and we also had the rather exciting opportunity to do some commercial work with one of our previous grooms! Really excited for what the rest of the year might bring!

WE SHOT A WEDDING! We had the privilege of filming for this amazing couple today and it was so good to get back into! It was also awesome to shoot alongside Olly Knight Photography who was the photographer for our wedding as well - such a great day!

TIME TO GET READY! We are so excited that in two weeks time we are going to be filming our first wedding of the year! Whilst it’s going to be different, and provide some new challenges for us, we’re so excited to get back behind the camera and start capturing all these special memories!

Sometimes you’ll see us post photos or share films when our couples have an anniversary - well today is our own so why not do the same!

A lot of our business and the way we work is based on what we wanted when we were the other side of this, looking for our own suppliers, and finding people we wanted to share our day!

So yesterday we saw off our year with a bang (quite literally!) as we filmed our last wedding of 2019. We’ve had an absolutely incredible year, filming for some absolutely incredible couples along the way, all over the country, as well as our first overseas wedding in Italy! It’s been an absolute blast and I wouldn’t change it for the world, so thank you to everyone that helped to make it so special, from our couples, to venues, and suppliers we’ve met along the way! The biggest thank you for me has to go to though - it’s been a dream come true to run this business with you, and have our first full year filming together as husband and wife. Here’s to an incredible 2020 with lots more amazing weddings and adventures to come! Merry Christmas everyone!
