Our next film, 1917, was a triumph on release. It won 135 awards, and was nominated for 207. Those wins include 3 Oscars, 7 BAFTA Awards, and 2 Golden Globes with a further 10 nominations across just those three major award ceremonies. It also received a critic and audience score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. Even if you’ve seen the film at home, there’s nothing quite like a big screen showing of a cinematic masterpiece. Tickets for our next film are now available. 1917 is one which deserves to be seen on the big screen, and is an incredible piece of cinema from director Sir Sam Mendes. We’re donating £2 for every ticket sold to the Royal British Legion, too.

Our next showing (Sunday 3rd November) is '1917'. Did you know this incredible film from director Sir Sam Mendes was inspired by his Grandfather, Alfred H. Mendes who - aged just 17 in 1916 - carried messages across no-man's-land?
