As a lot of Cranford hall followers probably realise we also run a festival in the summer. This great little article came up in the guardian today and is definitely worth a read, it’s a big heads up to why it’s essential to keep small festivals going and give the new and upcoming bands a platform to play out. We would love to see you all at The Music Barn on 29th June 2024 Tickets are being released 31st Jan.

Number 2 of Slowvember -UNEXPECTED. In the summer of 2020 after a couple of years of re-plastering a damp wall, we decided to pull off the plaster and this it what we unexpectedly discovered. Beautiful bricked in hops ovens, proving the Brewhouse Bar is in the perfect place.

Thanks to the lovely Hannah hall I have decided to give this my best shot. SLOWVEMBER. Its a great idea as I can never think what to post and my social media is not as good as it could be. The fact that I am actually starting this 2 days late is a clear indication of that. So here goes number 1… Say Hello

This is me Emma, with husband Mark and the in-laws Sir John and Lady Gayle who live in the magnificent Cranford Hall and so very kindly allow me to run weddings and events from the Studio building and infiltrate their garden every other weekend in the summer. I’ve been doing this since 2016 and I still love it - owner, organiser, bar tender, cocktail maker, wine taster, planner, furniture shifter, decorator, occasional taxi driver, cleaner and tonnes of other random tasks means it never gets dull. I meet so many lovely couples and their families and have made a good few new friends along the way.
