That’s me all wrapped up for the year! Overall, it’s been ok. Wreath sales were down compared to last year but that was mainly due to getting a big dose of flu at the beginning of December. Flower orders were fewer, but the higher spend balanced things out. A midweek Christmas is never as strong for sales as one at the end of the week, so it was expected but I was busy at the Thornhill Arms as well as taking a little job at my local wholesaler.

My Christmas sundries are now all packed away and I can have my dining room back.

All that’s left is to say a huge thank to all of you lovely lot for your support over the last year. Please continue to bear me in mind for your gift bouquets and funerals - my prices are really very competitive.

I’d like to take a moment to thank all my customers for their patience and understanding over the past few weeks. I’ve been immersed in my studies and working hard on assignments for my Level 4 Floristry qualification. Those who know me well will understand that written work has never been my strong suit—but we’ll see how it goes! I’ll find out my results next month and will be waiting with bated anticipation.
