It’s been quite the full on return to work this week 6 weeks post op but what an incentive, the wedding of Julian and Clara, back in his childhood home of @brockencotehall. What an honour, thank you for trusting me

Finally fully Open from Tuesday Nov 26h following my hip replacement with 2 for 1 offer on all of the Christmas sundries and fully stocked with flowers. Do come and pay me a visit will be great to catch up

Wedding today for Annabel and Richard in the same beautiful field that her Mum and Dad were married in 33 years ago today! My Mum did their flowers 33 years ago. The continuing circle of life here, always enhanced by flowers gives me immense joy and pinch me moments every day.

Last week’s worth of work preparing and installing for @gloucesterquays food festival. Gosh it was hot for the poor flowers and veg! Looked great in the end and was a really busy popular event once again

I have a little home-grown in most days at this time of year but I’m nice it’s sold it’s gone!

My little shop

Growing up in this beautiful village I always had a dream to have a little flower shop. My parents grew flowers, plants, vegetables and soft fruit commercially on our market garden so I have always been around fresh produce. In 2007 when my children were of school age The Old Malthouse came available and I decided the time was right to move from the market garden and create the flower room* within it’s black and white walls. I have been here ever since growing my little business in an organic way using as much English and home-grown flower and foliage as I can and supplementing it with Dutch imported produce. I have a brilliant loyal customer base of lovely people who seem to like what I do and how I work with my natural materials., but I’m always happy to meet new ones! I work on weddings, funerals, parties, birthdays, in fact, any occasion which would be enhanced by the addition of a few flowers.
