Local Venison from Bewdley resting under the lights for my last Dinner Party in Craven Arms. Lovely venison with braised Chicory, Chestnuts, Potato Terrine and Red wine Sauce. Only photo I took all night. Lovely guests and stunning house.

Catered a beautiful cocktail party with a wonderful selection of canapes last week - a mixture of hot and cold little mouthfuls to accompany some summer drinks. Pea, Mint and Preserved Lemon Croustade was definitely the favourite, closely followed by Beetroot Jam and Whipped Ricotta and the Porcini Arancini.

Had a great weekend at the Tewkesbury Food Festival with Cotswold Markets doing some cookery demonstrations on The Wots Cooking stage. Nice to see a busy event with some great food and drink producers

A great dinner party last night celebrating Tom's 30th Birthday. A personalised menu requested by his wife with all his favourites - canapés to start, an amuse bouche of Chicken Liver Parfait I cooked for him 5 years ago, scallops, beef fillet with smoked pomme puree and Eton Mess. Lovely people and lovely food. The only picture I took though was of this beautiful boy - Toby. Best behaved guest ever!

Lovely review from this weekends event. One of my favourite events as the guests where so nice.
Canapés to start, beef and onion brioche with whipped marmite butter followed by celeriac and apple soup, then crispy pigs head, the aged beef fillet with smoked pomme purre, red wine sauce, kalette and would mushroom.

Great event at Malvern Lakehouse celebrating Gabi's 30th birthday. Beautiful cake supplied by Tartiflette for starter, glazed pork belly for main and a wonderful choux bun with white chocolate Chantilly. And to finish petit fours of Cointreau chocolate and white chocolate fudge - sorry no pictures!

One of the events we catered this weekend was the wedding of Mr and Mrs Hawkes at Stourport Civic Center. A wonderful event to be asked to cater. We were fortunate enough to get some wonderful produce from Willow Farm which is about 10 minute's drive. The lovely Kate and Ali supplied super fresh pork for the Terrine and the Shredded Mexican Pork as well as loads of autumnal veg.

Willow Farm Pork Terrine for Friday's wedding. Pork belly, leg, liver and heart minced and ready to be bake its water bath. Once cooked - it looks and smells great - chilled, wrapped and left to mature for a couple of days!

NEW TOY DAY! Boys and their toys!! After years of going through several food saver vac-pac machines decided to trade as it broke in exactly the same place AGAIN. After playing with the new one so glad I did, thank you Just need to find a better circulator to replace my second broken ivide which appears not to be covered by the warranty after 3 months! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Had a great day at Ludlow Food Festival on Sunday, despite feeling under the weather! Thank you to The Fish House, Ludlow for the beautiful lemon sole, Wots Cooking for the invite, Andrew Easton for being a wonderful host, for looking after me back stage and everyone who sat and watched! It's a wonderful food festival with some amazing producers/ suppliers and is always nice to catch up with people. We still have space on my next course at course on the 22nd - please get in touch if interested. Thank you to all the sponsors including the wonderful for my beautiful apron.

Not long until the best at Ludlow Food Festival starts. Three days of food, glorious food with loads to see and eat. I have have been involved with the food festival for some time, either demonstrating or running classes for them. This year I will be on the at 1-30, Sunday doing some fishy stuff.
