Saturday was such a special day. A beautiful place, wonderful people, a dreamy team of suppliers. There was nothing you'd want to change 🫶🏼
When the big red bus brought everyone back from church, there was a little drizzle in the air but we braved an outdoor drinks reception and I'm so pleased we did! In a glorious woodland spot with views of the Shropshire countryside, a glass of prosecco and some pretty music was all we needed!l 🥂
I loved the entrance these guys made into the marquee with their tambourines 🩷 There were lovely speeches and an amazing meal... Everything looked perfect 👌🏼
My favourite part of the day was tagging along to a few couples portraits and watching these two dancing, twirling, running. It felt like we were in a movie, and look how amazing they look!
Seeing the groom in his element on the drums was another highlight. The first dance, the gorgeous cake, the pizzas, the photobooth. I reckon these guys had a pretty epic night!

Honestly, I feel so lucky to get to work in such wonderful places with such fantastic people. It's genuinely so exciting to me when I set off on a little adventure, check into a hotel, and inevitably get myself tucked into bed with a cuppa tea and some snacks ahead of a busy day 🤭

Currently in a Premier Inn in Trowbridge with a Nandos collection on order and my laptop looking at me wondering why I brought it when we both knew I'd rather watch telly 😂

Just so you know, this is what I remember about your day 🩷
I know how important it is to get "the look" right and to have perfect photos that you can keep forever, but I'm not about doing things JUST "for the gram". I just love working with genuine people, and making sure you have a day that means something to you. The thing I take away from each wedding is the laughs, the happy tears, the fun and games, and the honest moments between you and your fave people.
Just a little reminder that that's what it's all about 🫶🏼

This is your essential wedding checklist. All the basics to guide you through from the moment you get engaged right up until the day you get married 👌🏼
It's different for every couple, so just use this as a guide. But it will run you through important tasks you'll want to complete AND tell you when you might want to look at doing them.
It'll also give you space to allocate your tasks to a person, meaning you know what's taken care of and everyone knows what they are doing!

It was such a dream meeting Liv & Jake, they are just the loveliest people and such a wonderful couple. Their wedding was a real celebration of love, family & friends, and they did everything just the way that they wanted. That's something you'll hear a LOT! And it's so true 👌🏻
The day will sneak up on you, and it'll go by in a blur. People always say "is it really time for food already?", "wow the afternoon went by so quickly" and "are you sure it's time for the DJ to start?!" 😂
But believe me, there are moments that I spend wondering what is taking SO. FLIPPIN. LONG. A speech that just won't end, Auntie so-and-so who can't find her seat, or the groomsmen who can't round up the group photos... Believe me this happens 🤦🏼♀️😂

On the subject of cake.... 🍰
Yes, I am a bit obsessed with wedding cake. But there's good reason!
There's a good chance if you've got a cake that it's cost you a fair bit. You might have designed something really special or had your heart set on photos of you cutting it together. You might just be desperate for your guests to try a piece and you've got all kinds of fabulous flavours (I will never forget the wedding I did with a Kinder Bueno cake. I'd marry that if I could) 🤤
So we don't want your cake to be forgotten!
In venues where there are larger teams of staff or caterers on site, this may well be taken care of but if you're going DIY the responsibility is on you! Make sure you have the people, the space and the equipment you need to move the cake, slice it up, bring it out and let your guests enjoy ❤️

When you hear 'On The Day', you may think I just rock up on the morning of the wedding but there's a lot of prep work I do to make sure everything is going to go smoothly for you!
One of the things I like to do is contact your suppliers ahead of the wedding to say hello and double check we all have everything we need. That way, it's easier for us to dive right in when we get there and it also means we can flag any issues before it's too late 👌
