'Oh What a Night!! La- ate August back in '24'. Tenby Round Table 2nd Summer Spectacular. Is it on? Dare we risk it with the ever changing weather? 'Absolutely, we're going for it' said The Tablers.
Thousands of happy partying smiling faces, embracing such a brilliant atmosphere generated by fantastic entertainment and that unique Tenby vibe. Samba DOC marching through Tenby, setting the tone of the day, keeping the rhythms and families engaged with their drum workshop. The talented cast from Saundersfoot Footlights followed with a set of classics from the musicals.

The first live band of the event, RocCana making their Tenby Summer Spectacular debut did not disappoint, performing a delightfully varied set of pop and rock classics, as well as throwing in a couple of classics in Welsh, unique for Tenby, for good measure. It was always a surprise as to what they were going to play next, taking us in many musical directions.

Next up were the fantastic Sorted Ska Band who performed impeccably, musically nailing every hook and lick they covered to accurately recreate the SKA anthems they covered. The Sleeping Dogs .WOW!! What a set, incredible versatility playing impeccably, taking requests and instantly performing them. 4 multi talented musicians that certainly know how to work a crowd, much to the delight of every single person on the Tenby Harbour arena. Outbreak Sound as always ensured the sound was perfect on and off- stage. The incredible Firework Display to end the event was as impeccable andxa oerfect event closer.

As always, massive love and respect to all the Tenby Round Table members and all the volunteers who work so hard to ensure the success of this event, not forgetting the generous and supportive Sponsors Matthew Ronowitz and his team from the Qube Group. Qube Restaurant , Tenby

Why do these people put in so much time and effort? To raise money for so many deserving charitable causes throughout the year. Obviously the bonus is that we get to have 1 massive party on Tenby Harbour twice a year. But without the support of the many thousands in attendance, it simply couldn't happen. It's a huge team effort from everyone to pull it all together and make it work so thank you everybody for supporting and embracing this huge part of te Tenby Summer calendar.

As always for me, it's a pleasure and honour to be a part of this incredible event and I am so appreciative of the faith shown in me by Tenby Round Table. I've struggled this year with my voice which has been really tough and frustrating as I love working a crowd and it's damn near impossible to do so without a voice, so I definitely had to let the music do the talking. 🌦☀️🌦 Event Update 🌦☀️🌦

We are keeping an eye on a very changeable weather forecast for this Sunday's Summer Spectacular - but base on the current forecast, we hope to go ahead with the event!

Obviously the event is weather dependant and we need to be mindful of those that are attending and the viability of it as a charity fundraiser so will update on here if that changes (no need to message us).

The professional fireworks company we use for the display at 10pm conduct risk assessments on the day to ensure it is safe for the display to go ahead (based on wind strength and direction as well as rain), if there is any change to the display we will post an update.

Tenby Round Table Summer Spectacular yesterday. What a fantastic day. Gutted my voice was shot, made it tough for me, but equally, good for everyone else! The 'Scorchio' weather and fantastic live entertainment certainly helped me get through the day massively, along with my music in- between the acts to cover my inability to compere properly. Samba DOC opened the entertainment with a march through town down to the harbour, then they entertained us all with their ultra infectious Samba beats before performing an interactive drum workshop with the children and families on the harbour arena, a lovely touch. Kelly Williams School of Dance were next and were just magnificent with children from all ages from 3 upwards entertaining the crowds with their dancing skills. Much respect to the coaches and dance teachers for their commitment to the dancers. The fantastically talented Westmacott Family Trio 'Ella Guru', celebrating 25 years together this year, absolutely nailed it as always with their unique medleys and interpretations of so many classic music genres. Musically and vocally top drawer. After The Fire really rocked the event with a brilliant set list of classic singalong rock crowd pleasers superbly covered with awesome musicianship and vocals. Funktion 22 - Party Band headlined the event and they did exactly what they say on their tin. An amazing classy 8 piece band of brilliant musicians gelling together to provide 90 minutes of dance party classics generating a truly wonderful feelgood Tenby Summer Spectacular Party Vibe. The atmosphere on the packed Tenby Harbour Arena, there must've been a few thousand in attendance everywhere, was simply bouncing. Adam and crew from Outbreak Sound were a top team to work with and despite a few monitor glitches, provided a clean crisp sound for us all. And, of course, the event culminated in a breathtaking firework display to end the event at 10. Silent fireworks? Whoever said that, 'get a life'. Again, I need to pay the utmost respect and give thanks for having faith in me, to the hard working members of Tenby Round Table who host this event on 2 August Sundays every year with the sole aim of raising as much money as possible to dish out to deserving causes and charities throughout the year. But, without people attending, supporting and donating, this would not be possible, so it's a massive collective team effort from everybody to attend, enjoy, embrace the event and have fun. Special mention and thanks also needs to be extended to Matt and his team from The Qube Restaurant , Tenby Group for sponsoring the event. Fingers crossed my voice will be back for the next Summer Spectacular on Sunday 25th August when we go again, 3pm 'til 10pm with another fantastic line-up of entertainment. Cheers everyone, especially Linda, my absolute rock diamond support wingman of a wife, and my amazing family who it was a pleasure to be with yesterday enjoying the fun. Who needs anything else?
