Received our 3rd place medal from Civic Queen today. A member of Strathcarron shop has drawn the lucky ticket and we raised a great, £121, thank you so much to all who bought raffle tickets and donated.

Did you know....after years of going to the Flower Market at 6am, we now get most of our flowers delivered. The companies have shop keys so the flowers are here when we come in. We then unpack flowers, re-cut and tidy stems and put in water for opening .

National Florist Day
Saturday 8th of June has been dedicated to florists and all things floral.

Florists see people at the happiest and saddest occasions, we help convey celebrations, congratulations, love, sorrow, and just because!!

I have had The Flower Shop, Kilsyth for 24 years and lucky to have so many amazing loyal customers, many who have been with me from the beginning.

We are a small team with a few special retirees who help at busy times. To celebrate National Florist Day, over the next week l shall share a few insights from the shop.
