I have enough foliage left to make up one or two more wreaths so please get in touch if you'd like one for your front door or (better still) to enjoy inside!

All natural seasonal foliage and berries, prices range from £30-£55. For collection from my Watlington studio or local delivery.

That's a wrap on festive workshops this year 🎄🎄🎄

What an absolutely lovely and enthusiastic lot who joined me to learn the art of wreath and garland making. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to do something mindful and calming that connected them with nature, and made truly beautiful and unique creations.

I'll be sharing some photos of the garlands and wreaths in situ but for now here are some pics of the process.

Freshly handcrafted in my studio...a large festive wreath for The Angel at Watlington 🎄🎄🎄

This one features a lot of gorgeous blue-green foliage ('glaucous' to the horticulturalists) including eucalyptus and cypress, as well as an array of dried flowers in blue and purple tones, lending an almost icy appearance. Very detailed and a real joy to make ✨

Festive workshop prep mode is on!

The foliage is being picked, the cones are being twined, the bases are being mossed, the dried flowers are being sorted and the ribbons and bells are being prepped...exciting times!

✨Saturday 7th December, at The Angel at Watlington 2.30-5pm, festive wreath making
✨ Thursday 12th December, at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve 6-8.30pm, festive garland making
✨ NEW DATE Friday 13th December, a second garland making workshop at The Angel at Watlington, 6-8.30pm

All workshops are priced at £50 per person. All materials, festive nibbles and finished product included in the price.

We will be working with fresh and vibrant seasonal evergreen foliage and berries as well as a range of gorgeous dried flowers and grasses to create pieces that are full of texture, colour and scent. No two pieces will look the same!

My latest piece - a 'living' tapestry🌷

An embroidery hoop and hessian fabric created the perfect web into which I wove wild and textured dried flowers and foliage. Bracken, woodland sage, toadflax and Michaelmas daisies are just some of the beauties used here. Truly a way to bring the outside in!

This piece will be available to purchase at my stall at the Blended Monkey Crafts Autumn Artisan Fayre taking place this Sunday in Upwell. Come and say hello!

I have had a cancellation for my dried flower cloud workshop, taking place this Friday 4th October 9.30am-2.30pm at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve. I am busy making some beautiful everlasting floral décor ahead of the Blended Monkey Crafts Autumn Artisan Fayre on Sunday 20th October!

These dried flower garlands are a new offering that I'm excited to showcase at the event, they will brighten up any corner of your home/venue ✨✨✨

About the event:
The Autumn Artisan Fayre is taking place at Upwell Hall (New Rd, Upwell, PE14 9AB) on Sunday 20th October. It will run from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm and entry is free. The event will feature an amazing collection of Fenland and East Anglian artists, creators and makers who are selling their work and demonstrating their crafts. All profits are going to the Norfolk & Waveney MIND charity.

Autumn wreathing season has begun...

I made this one up with leftovers from my recent wedding commission and it is available for £45.

It's large-ish (55cm across) and made on a willow base with jute twine. It can be used inside or out, if outside it will naturally start to decay and mould after 3/4 weeks and can then be composted (remove the ribbon first). If used inside it will look good for years if placed away from direct sunlight and humidity.

It was a joy to make these three wild and meadowy dried flower clouds and bridal bouquet for B&B's wedding today at Godwick Hall and Great Barn.

The couple requested a warm autumnal colour palette with a dusting of gypsophila. I can't wait to see how these colours and textures pop against the backdrop of the Barn and the bride's black wedding dress!

The flower clouds are made on a wire and hazel base, with zero floral foam in sight. It was a proud moment for me to be able to use lots of home-grown blooms, including rudbeckias, dahlias and orache, as well as beautiful seasonal grasses and flowers from Amber Cottage Flowers and foraged bits and pieces (dock and hops are always a winner)!

It may only be mid-September but it's already time to be thinking ahead to festive workshops! 🌲❄️🎉✨

I so far have two workshops scheduled:

- Festive wreath making at The Angel at Watlington, Saturday 7th December from 2.30pm until 5pm
- Festive garland making at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve, Thursday 12th December from 6pm until 8.30pm

Both of these are priced at £50 pp, with all materials and refreshments included.

This beautiful large flower cloud was safely delivered to its new home near Birmingham today!

The customer requested a colour palette of pinks, purples and whites - a lovely fresh combination and a wonderful opportunity to showcase some freshly dried seasonal flowers including marjoram, sea lavender and achillea.

This statement piece is full of texture and has a very calming scent!

The flower cloud was made on a handcrafted wire and hazel base, secured with twine. No floral foam in sight!

It was a joy to make these seven half-crowns and buttonhole for a wedding in the Cotswolds yesterday 🤍✨🥂

The crowns were intricately handcrafted using freshly dried British seasonal flowers, including winged everlasting, feverfew and yarrow. The flowers were woven onto a handmade wire base using twine, and finished with ribbon.

I still have some capacity for weddings this year so please get in touch if you’d like some crowns or half-crowns making up for your special day.

A fresh garden posy, featuring a number of flowers I've grown from seed this year, including dahlias, sweet peas, statice and nigella. A lot of these lovely blooms will be harvested and hung upside down for use in bouquets, wreaths, wedding accessories etc. this year and next 😀
